Sultai Graveyard with a Tree-Wizard's Daughter

Commander / EDH* BUG (Sultai)

DwaginFodder

Muldrotha, the Gravetide is a powerhouse. It encourages almost every graveyard theme in the history of Magic, most of which are also in her colors. I ended up including delirium and delve abilities, those were the most accessible for me. I am also considering threshold and drudge.

I decided to go all-in on the self-mill theme, including win conditions like Laboratory Maniac and Mortal Combat . Cards that reward you for putting certain permanents from your deck to your library generate additional value. With all of the things shoved into your graveyard, you can expend unneeded or situational cards to generate even more value through delve or Hostile Desert .

With Muldrotha out, your graveyard is essentially your second hand. Permanent-based boardwipes ( Plague Boiler , Nevinyrral's Disk ) become repeatable, sacrifice effects become akin to emblems, and cumulative upkeep effects become almost irrelevant. The limitation of one of each type is fine; you probably wouldn't have enough to cast more than that anyway.

Splinterfright is a hidden gem.
