Maybeboard

A fairly typical green ramp deck with an underused commander. Seton has his weaknesses, but being a mana-dork that enables other mana-dorks is nice for this style of play.

I've utilized Seton's ability to enable powerful, sometimes insane ramp, with a secondary Elfball game plan. Turn one ramp is critical; If you can spare a mulligan or two, you are looking for anything that gets you to 3 mana turn 2, allowing Seton to be cast and chained into other Druids if you have the right hand. After getting down a bunch of druids for extra mana, the game plan is to hopefully drop a Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, Overwhelming Stampede, or Pathbreaker Ibex. The latter two are helped by value fatties such as Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. If you have a lot of mana and Elves, tutor Ezuri, Renegade Leader to win, or simply throw Lightning Greaves on Kozi or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

The deck is very fast but extremely weak to late-stage control decks or destruction of its manabase; if you are looking for a more resilient and less swingy playstyle, I recommend branching into other colors.

Why Seton?

Seton is surprisingly powerful for what little aggro he draws. Despite being a powerful enabler, he is not necessary for any part of the deck to function, so your opponent will rarely waste removal on him. After all, most EDH tables tend to play something like Green: The Gathering, and Seton just lets you get a little faster.
