Marukesa has ascended to the Black Rose Throne in Eiganjo Castle

It is said that she is protected by a divine presence, the kami known as Myojin of Cleansing Fire.

Others say she is aided by the great and powerful demon known as Butcher of the Horde.

Konda, Lord of Eiganjo and Godo, Bandit Warlord are her most trusted daimyo.

Her field generals Takeno, Samurai General and Odric, Master Tactician use tactics (budō) and cunning tricks to surprise the enemy and turn the tide of battle.

Here samurai are loyal and honorable. They fight with a ferocity that strikes fear in her enemies. Their few survivors return with twisted stories of monsters and oni called Ankle Shanker, and Zurgo Helmsmasher.

Her ninja and assassins work in the dark and strike down any would-be challengers to her throne.

They all rally under her Mardu Banner, and bring Crackling Doom to her enemies.
