So basically after watching the Loading Ready Run podcast about Canadian Highlander, called North 100, I got inspired to build a lands deck. However, after I compiled the pieces for it, there was the problem of actually needing a commander to play it, so I decided to jam the Maelstrom Wanderer.

The deck basically looks to dump its hand and then cast some free spells off of the Wanderer. The primary win condition tends to be combat damage, but the actual game plan is to find Akoum Hellkite , Hedron Crab , or Tunneling Geopede and use those with Scapeshift or Splendid Reclamation (Or both) to get enough landfall triggers to close out the game.

Spicy includes to the deck include Struggle / Survive and a notable lack of Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. However, with the printing of Ilysian Dryad , I think I will have to add Valakut.
