This is my Lurking Snowballs deck turned EDH after my play group started using that format more.

This is phase two of the deck. Plenty of sorceries to get creatures in - Selvala's Stampede is particularly useful in large group play! Combine that with something like Lurking Predators and Mayael the Anima herself and generally by turn 5 or 6, you'll see a half-dozen creatures in play under your control.

The best start you can hope for is something like a Lotus Cobra or the Krosan Verge , some ramp like Farseek or Nature's Lore and ideally a delaying creature, like Emeria Angel or Archangel of Tithes .
