The release of Fumulus in the upcoming set made me realize I never made a deck around any of the Golgari insects, because it goes perfect in them.

So I decided to remedy that.

The name of the game is mill. Our commander Zask, Altar of Dementia, Ripples of Undeath, and similar cards let us fill the yard with insects to recur with Zask, as well as dumping lands for future use. There could be an argument for more land synergies, but I chose to care more about Insects. Our commander lets us recycle Insects we sacrifice, so we can easily abuse Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, and Altar of Dementia. Though I've not gone heavy on the aristocrats synergies this time around, Mazirek is useful to buff our ever-growing swarm. Amzu, Living Hive, Scute Swarm, both Grists, Hornet Queen and Hive, and a couple others help build an army of little tokens to overwhelm or sacrifice as needs be.

We win by overwhelming opponents with a swarm of creepy-crawlies or by draining out our opponents with Fumulus, the Infestation.
