The majority of my decks strongly emphasize creatures, but this deck is different in that it focuses very little on creatures and instead utilizes non-creature cards, most notably instants and sorceries, and the few creatures that are in this deck (as well as the majority of other non-land permanents) all have synergy with such spells; in particular, the four planeswalkers in this deck all have abilities that trigger when a certain type of spell is cast.

Despite this deck having only a small number of creature cards, it has a large number of permanents that generate tokens, partially for attacking and blocking, but mainly to trigger the ability of Impact Tremors. I very much wished to put Young Pyromancer in this deck, but it already had a sufficient number of creatures, so, if I ever build a red/blue EDH deck, it shall definitely be in such a deck. I also was contemplating putting Electrostatic Field in this deck, but I determined that both Guttersnipe and Firebrand Archer were superior to it, so I left out that card, as well. Another combo that I contemplated was Dramatic Reversal and Isochron Scepter, which I would use to generate infinite mana and then use that mana to cast Comet Storm to defeat all of my opponents, but I again decided to save that strategy for a dedicated red/blue deck. Elsha's ability to allow me to look at the top card of my library will make her very effective in combination with Counterbalance, as she shall eliminate the need to guess when I use that card's ability. I had contemplated having Swarm Intelligence or Thousand-Year Storm in this deck, but I decided to use Double Vision, despite it being less powerful, because I valued its lower mana cost. I also contemplated putting Inspired Ultimatum into this deck, but its mana cost is very strict, so I am very wary about including it.

I was having difficulty conceiving of an awesome name for this deck, so I chose "Pursuit of Happiness," since that has long been emphasized as an American virtue, and this deck has the colors of the American flag; however, if anyone here has any suggestions for a new name, I would be glad to hear such suggestions.
