I'm a fan of the Theros plane and enchantment creatures (sparkling frame!), so when Kestia, the Cultivator was spoiled I was pretty excited. Her bestow ability and the possibility of having a great card draw engine in an aggro deck, while being more resilient when assigned to a creature, made me think of a list which tries to focus on Nyxborn creatures to win the game by attacking and at the same time keep my hand full of resources, while relying on classic enchantress' staples.

The Core Show

Core of the deck are the Nyxborn, which functions as enchantments, as enchant creature -the bestow ones- and as creatures which can trigger Kestia by attacking, all with fairly important support effects such as Constellation. Since most of the cards of this list are permanents, Gods can be a reasonably reliable wincon, being evasive until in devotion and then indestructible big beaters. All of them have important side effects too, which pushed me to include all of them for maximum power.

The Enchantments Show

The Auras are the cards of which I have some doubts and could ask most for advice: outside of the payoff of Bear Umbra, part of them are protections ( Shielded by Faith and Flickerform ) and the others are pretty cheap and not vital to the game plan, so I'm not totally sure they're all worth the slots. I'm open to suggestions! The other enchantments are split between anthems (just three, powerful but I'm in doubt if they're too few to be impactful), card draw and ramp (among the various enchantresses and Land Tax ) and other enchantments matter cards, such as Sigil of the Empty Throne and Luminarch Ascension which, if left unanswered, can be very aggressive too! I'm not a fan of Opalescence effects, since creatures are easier to remove, but Starfield of Nyx is one of my favourite cards, having a built in reanimation effect which can be very nasty, considering that it doesn't become itself a creature, so it can just keep reanimating stuff and then swinging with the other enchantments.

Other than the ones I mentioned before, the doubts about my deck could come from the removal and wraths category, plus the to-be-enchanted creatures, which are another plan to take advantage of Kestia's ability without enchantment creatures, while trying to close the game thanks to evasiveness of creatures like Daxos of Meletis . Are they not enough? Is there something not worth playing? Are there better enchantments/enchantment creatures? Budget options are always welcomed above all. Thanks for the attention!
