My idea for this deck started when I was drafting with some friends. I pulled Hythonia the Cruel and thought it would be cool to try and put together some kind of gorgon deck. After some research, I found out there were very few gorgons in existence in magic and decided to go in the direction of a deathtouch deck with a gorgon splash.

Initially, it was just going to be a black/green deck. I decided to add in blue because I really like the control and draw aspects I could have in the deck with blue. Having a majority of my creatures being on the higher end of my mana curve, the idea is to keep my opponent under control early game with my lower cost counters and removal. Getting a few small cost draws are always good too. Late game is intended to be dominated by my various deathtouch creatures, most of which have other functions besides just being a deathtouch creature.

This is a deck on a budget and I had over half of the cards when I started creating it. I'm starting to invest a little more into some better lands for the deck. It could use a stronger, more consistent land base.
