The idea is to give my opponents control of cards that will mess their game up.

An Aggressive Mining played on early turns makes the comeback really hard.

Celestial Dawn with a deck that doesn't have white ends the game for them.

Embargo is really good as it drains life each turn and since I don't attack with my creatures, I have little to worry about the first effect.

Mind Unbound reaches a point where my opponent will feel overwhelmed and possibly draws his/her entire deck.

Pyromancer's Swath makes the game a lot harder, not being able to keep something in your hand is huge.

Statecraft helps me protect myself from aggro decks that are messing with me.

Thought Lash is another finisher, eventually my opponent will remove every card from his deck.

Transcendence helps me gain a bit of life and it instantly kills anyone who has a lot of life and cannot be dealt with any other way.

Psychic Spiral is another finisher. Since I draw a lot of cards, I reckon that many of them will end up in the graveyard, so I can use it to refill my deck and mill someone.

There are many cards to put things in the battlefield without paying their mana cost like Wild Evocation , Gate to the AEther , Knowledge Pool , Omen Machine and Pyxis of Pandemonium . As I cast my enchantments for free, I have more mana to spend with zedruu's ability and it also helps my opponents so they think twice before killing me.

I also have a lot of cards to protect zedruu since keeping him in the battlefield is essential.
