This is a deck for players that like to keep decent control over the battlefield, yet still have enough power to knock opponents out of the game. As opposed to an Azorius deck that doesn't do much on it's own turn, Yasova's ability makes you feel like you're actually doing something and moving the game along on your turn, not just waiting to react to threats.

I've actually won several games by hitting players 2-3 times with Yasova to secure the win via commander damage - players usually forget that she inherently has Trample. There are also several big finishers like Insurrection, Rite of Replication and Tooth and Nail.

Also notice the mana fixing that allows you to play off of any color or colors that your opponent's control. This is in case that you can target opponent's creatures that have a color-specific activated abilities outside of the wedge like Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. This also allows Bring to Light to fetch a card with a higher casting cost.
