I really wanted to make a Rakdos deck, with Rakdos, Lord of Riots as general. I managed to make it - sort of - a budget deck too. He is fast, brutal and just screams for a fast and furious deck in which Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch is the second in command.

However, I wanted to stay within the theme a bit and not only include fast and hard-hitting creatures, but use the full scale of Rakdos abilities: the Rakdos version of 'fun' and 'festivities'. Moreover, I also wanted the deck to be able to stand a chance in multiplayer as well as one vs one, while still being creature heavy.

This is what I came up with.

• Creatures like Ogre Battledriver, Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch, Maze Rusher (most of the creatures are multi-coloured) and Urabrask the Hidden ensure that your creatures can attack the moment they enter the battlefield.
• Blocking, for Rakdos, is not really an issue: why block if you can attack? Here come Ashenmoor Gouger, Shambling Remains or all the creatures with the unleash ability such as Carnival Hellsteed , but why not share this fun table wide? with Bedlam you can
• No cards on hand? That also is not really a problem hellbent and such abilities ensure that your creatures only grow more powerful, such as Dread Slag . Sire Of Insanity, Mindslicer and Pain Magnification allow others to participate
• Unblockable. Several cards make your creatures unblockable, such as War Cadence. Especially, the combo Bedlam + Master of Cruelties or Rogue's Passage is just a killer
• Big creatures, such as Malignus and Chaos Imps ensure battlefield dominance
• Small creatures such as Splatter Thug , Rakdos Cackler , Spike Jester , Pardic Collaborator allow you to do damage early in the game and get Rakdos, Lord of Riots out early. Special mention in this section for Cryptborn Horror : this one can be awesome early game.
• Cards such as Rage Reflection or Anthem of Rakdos allow you to do more damage
• Creature removal, there is not much creature removal: just attack and take as many creatures with out as you can, effects such as Balthor the Defiled allow you to return them. Creatures such as Deepfire Elemental , Avatar of Woe and Flametongue Kavu allow you to destroy particularly nasty ones. Grave Pact also balances the playing field (since your creatures, especially the little ones will be dropping like flies middle game)

Game play:

• Start up: bring out creatures quickly and start attacking to bring out Rakdos
• Middle game: prepare for the killer blow, or prepare to go down in a blaze of fire
• Late game: how did you manage to get here?
