Maybeboard

Creature (1)

I mean, you can still get some use out of this thing! An artifact/graveyard deck based around Feldon of the Third Path and his ridiculous ability to abuse ETB effects. Early game consists of ramping with mana rocks and pitching any and all fatties into the graveyard with looting effects. Remark how cute it is that your opponents have creatures out, them blow them the heck up with a board wipe. While they recover, drop Feldon onto the field and start whipping things back to further solidify your position.

BOMBS:

Goblin Welder: Swaps artifacts back and forth. Fantastic early game with the wellsprings and Solemn. Can be used in conjunction with Feldon copies to get artifacts back for free. Enables slaver lock with an artifact generator like Feldon.

Hoarding Dragon : With Feldon, gives an artifact tutor EVERY ROUND. With Thousand-Year Elixir and Unwinding Clock, that number goes way up.

Trading Post: Does everything this deck wants, namely discarding cards and returning artifacts from the grave. Draw power is nice too. Enables slaver lock with a creature generator like Feldon.

Bearer of the Heavens : A figurative and literal bomb. This guy will destroy EVERYTHING, that is, everything that isn't indestructible due to Soul of New Phyrexia. Even without soul, Greater Gargadon can come down the turn after and start beating faces.

~What the heck am I thinking?~

I enjoy control, but I dislike conditional cards like Magmaquake because if there's a flyer out, it's less effective, and I'm screwed if someone has something like Luminarch Ascension. This is why all of my board wipes hit every creature, though it's just a personal preference.

As for the deck itself, I chose Feldon to be my commander instead of Daretti for a few reasons. Overall, the raw power of Feldon is much higher. He can bring something from the graveyard every round at instant speed, while Daretti can only do 1 thing per turn, and you have to alternate +2/-2 to keep things moving. He's also more vulnerable to attacks. Constantly using his + to get to his ult means you're relying on your hard cast creatures to cover, and if he gets popped with Dreadbore or Hero's Downfall, you just lost quite a few turns. Feldon is also extremely abusable with untap effects via Thousand-Year Elixir and Magewright's Stone . Throw in Unwinding Clock with some mana rocks and you'll have some crazy stuff going on. The downside to Feldon is that yes, your own board wipes will kill him. That's why I prefer to hold him back if I have a wipe in hand and just let my opponents build their fields up. Also, Feldon has no built-in discard like Daretti does. That means you have to find another way to pitch creatures into the grave before bringing them back with Feldon. I run a large amount of red looting cards (Faithless Looting Wild Guess Rummaging Goblin Tormenting Voice) and some wheel cards (Reforge the Soul Incendiary Command) to ensure I always have at least something to bring back.

Suggestions always welcome. This deck is still fairly new and is always changing.
