I love Alesha, I run a budget Alesha deck. Just a few notes I'd like to share from my experience: Ankle Shanker doesn't work in combination with Alesha's ability, due to trigger timing, so you have to count on getting Ankle Shanker 's ability to trigger the turn after you resurrect him (the same would technically be true with Mardu Strike Leader ). If you want to run tokens as a sub-theme, I recommend Ponyback Brigade and Noosegraf Mob , since you can resurrect both with Alesha and their abilities trigger when they enter the battlefield. Flame-Kin Zealot also benefits you for going wide with lots of tokens. And if you want Alesha's ability to work without her dying all the time, whether due to blockers or removal, make sure to give her some [email protected]$$ gear: I run Cloak and Dagger , Swiftfoot Boots , Whispersilk Cloak , and Sunforger . Oh, and Hero's Blade , which I think is greedy but she has first strike, so it's pretty good. I think those will work better for you than the auras, especially since they cost colorless mana and allow you a little more flexibility. Relentless Assault would be a fun sorcery for you to run with all your tokens. As you play this, you may find that you need more card draw & more creatures in your graveyard for Alesha to resurrect for you, so I would be remiss to not mention Faithless Looting , Wild Guess , and Tormenting Voice ( Cathartic Reunion and Dangerous Wager also works). Put your expensive creatures with 2 power from your hand into your graveyard so that they only cost 2 mana to put onto the battlefield when you trigger Alesha. So Noosegraf Mob and Ponyback Brigade become instead of their normal mana costs, which is such a bargain. Have fun! Alesha is amazing.

Also, with such low CMC you will be top decking fairly quick, you might need some more draw...-3 Curse of the Pierced Heart , +3 Dangerous Wager (or Tormenting voice, etc)?

Hey hkhssweiss, if you're still looking for a good janky Monored Commander, I recommend Feldon of the Third Path . Use his ability in order to spam creatures with high power and solid ETB abilities, without worrying about a Counterspell. Typical picks are Molten Primordial , Bogardan Hellkite , Tyrant of Discord , Dragon Tyrant , Rapacious One , Pathrazer of Ulamog , and It That Betrays .

Instants and Sorceries like Faithless Looting , Cathartic Reunion , Dangerous Wager , Khorvath's Fury , Collective Defiance , Pirate's Pillage , and Shattered Perception let you put these biggies into your graveyard for early game Feldon recursion. Orbs of Warding can help protect your graveyard from removal.

Other notables are Petradon (exile your tapped lands, return them untapped at end step) and Avaricious Dragon (use when you want to dump your hand into the grave, activate Feldon at upkeep to draw an extra card). There are lots of fun tricks you can do with Feldon.

you need some form form of card draw and Insolent Neonate just filters your hand, so maybe adding Dragon Mantle would help a bit on Champion of the Flame and Valduk, Keeper of the Flame .

if you get to many lands on hand after the early game i suggest Magmatic Insight or when you got nothing usefull or no hand at all as well as being an instant Dangerous Wager or Wild Guess .

Kazuul's Toll Collector seems like an okay addition. (keep in mind i havent tested Magmatic Insight nor Kazuul's Toll Collector in any deck).

Your'e right abt the Skirk Prospector, prob not a good fit here. As far as Dangerous Wager I would take out Kuldotha Rebirth...since it requires an artifact and you only have 4, also could drop a couple Bloodcrazed Goblins? Either way, you really need some draw here.

I like Dangerous Wager, thanks! But what to take out?

For Skirk Prospector: I found that I don't always get Impact Tremors, and I can't wait for it. If it's there, good. Otherwise, I have to do without, and win with goblins "the normal way". Skirk Prospector helps me playing my whole hand basically sacrificing goblins to play different ones, but the end result is more or less, the same amount of goblins on the field and a empty hand, i fear.

+1 Lookin good! I would highly recommend Skirk Prospector to really speed things up. Since your avg CMC is so low, I think you will be top-decking rather quickly, so add some draw like Dangerous Wager and a few cycle lands like Forgotten Cave, for mid game when you dont need any more lands.
