Deck Plan

Nemata's only goal is to make infinite mana as soon as possible, then draw the deck with Nemata, Grove Guardian and payoffs such as Skullclamp , Psychotrope Thallid , Fecundity , finding payoffs such as Staff of Domination , Altar of Dementia , Concordant Crossroads

People are probably going to ask why Nemata?

Yisan, the Wanderer Bard and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds are better commanders. I like Nemata because it's a unique card that allows for a win with infinite mana in the command zone, regardless of whether infinite cards can be drawn the turn one combos off. Worst case scenario, opponents are staring down an infinitely large board of infinitely large saprolings in a format where boardwipes are few and far between ( Toxic Deluge isn't particularly fantastic against Nemata). The deck also doesn't die to Rakdos Charm , which counts for something in my book.

Combos

Umbral Mantle and any dork that taps for four or more mana.

Quirion Ranger or Scryb Ranger with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild , plus a creature that taps for more than 2 mana, such as Elvish Archdruid Priest of Titania , Magus of the Candelabra .

Any 1 mana creature(i.e. Elvish Mystic , Llanowar Elves , Birds of Paradise , Quirion Ranger along with a mana dork that taps for 5 mana, ( Elvish Archdruid , Priest of Titania , Karametra's Acolyte ), as well as Wirewood Symbiote , and Temur Sabertooth . This is the least efficient, requiring a 4-card setup.

Protection and Interaction

Veil of Summer , Autumn's Veil , Avoid Fate , and Sylvan Safekeeper help to protect the combo pieces

Kenrith's Transformation , Beast Within , Nature's Claim , and Force of Vigor help to deal with troublesome permanents

Stax

Collector Ouphe , Root Maze , Choke are meant to slow opponents down and give us time to assemble the combo

Potential Includes

Mox Diamond might be worth it here, as well as the new tutor from strixhaven.
