Marchesa, the Black Rose is a deckbuilding puzzle that has hexed me for many years now. She has a lot of different ways she can be built and after toying around with versions of her designed to steal my opponent's creatures, sacrifice them for value and then keep them by putting a +1/+1 counter on them I decided I wasn't satisfied.

That's when I decided to build her as an Aristocrats deck using cheap or free sacrifice outlets and Marchesa's ability to recur creatures to grind out my opponents over the course of the game. The deck is a selection of cheap sacrifice outlets like Yahenni, Undying Partisan, Hobblefiend and Goblin Bombardment paired with value pieces like Vindictive Lich, Sidisi, Undead Vizier and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. +1/+1 counters are hard to come by in Grixis but Graft creatures are a Godsend, recurring themselves and spreading counters.

Sure everything up with plentiful answers repeatable card draw and tutor's to smooth out the game and you've got a Marchesa Aristocrats EDH Deck/
