Welcome to the latest CEDH meme to hit the table!

This deck is a modified version of Urza Powered Scepter. Please go over there, take a peak, and drop it a +1! A lot of work went into it, and the authors deserve credit for their hard work!

This deck is running a Food Chain Package, but obviously can't run Food Chain itself. So, instead, we plan to steal T̶h̶e̶ ̶D̶e̶c̶l̶a̶r̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶I̶n̶d̶e̶p̶e̶n̶d̶e̶n̶c̶e̶ Food Chain!

You do this by running Flash, and then in response to the FC player casting their CFE creature for the first time, you Flash in Aura Thief or Agent of Treachery. This steals you the Food Chain before they can infinite out!
(NOTE: Aura steals all enchantments when it dies, Agent steals target permanent on ETB. Depending on your meta, either of these could be good, even without Food Chain being present!)

Once you have Food Chain, you extract your CFE creature, infinitely cast/exile them for infinite creature only mana, then infinitely cast/exile Urza, which gives you infinite constructs that you can tap for infinite mana!

You then proceed to infinitely Spin-To-Win!

The Changes

  • Power Artifact -> Flash
    This cut is to remove one win con for another

  • Sai, Master Thopterist -> Aura Thief
    This cut is to remove one "win con" for another

  • Opt -> Extract
    Removing a scry 1/draw 1 for removing 1 card

  • Island -> Misthollow Griffin
    Most decks only run 30 lands, so I cut one to make room for a CFE creature. This was originally Eternal Scourge, but Misthollow Griffin can be exiled with Force of Will&Negation which makes it a slightly better choice over Eternal Scourge (even though it costs 1 mana more)

  • Legacy's Allure -> Steal Enchantment
    Previously Mirrormade. Why copy an enchantment if you can steal it instead?

  • Sleight of Hand -> Manipulate Fate
    Card draw for card removal and draw

  • Jeweled Amulet -> Witching Well
    Trading a 0 cmc artifact that needs 1 cmc and a turn to produce mana, for a 1 cmc scry 2 artifact that can draw 2 cards later in the game. Definitely seems like a good addition, but we'll see how the testing goes.

NOTE: This is still under testing. So changes will be occurring from time to time, and I'll make sure to post updates every time.

The Cuts

  • Agent of Treachery
    We only need one thief. The thief you use is meta dependent. If your meta has a lot of enchantments, keep Aura Thief. If it doesn't, put in Agent of Treachery instead.
    Agent also is an ETB effect, while Aura requires it to die to trigger. So take that into consideration when choosing your thief.

  • Jeweled Amulet
    While a decent card (0 drop, semi-mana rock) I'm cutting this for a more useful card that can fill a similar role.

  • Misthollow Griffin
    We only need one CFE creature, and Eternal Scourge is easier to cast (1cmc less, and entirely colorless).

  • Sleight of Hand
    This was cut instead, to make room for other cards. The cut cards -> Added cards has been modified so the cuts match up better with the additions.

The Additions

  • The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
    This was a bad cut. Don't cut this unless you need to for budget reasons.

  • Future Sight
    This was a semi-bad cut. I'm still considering cutting this if need be, but for now, it's a good card that serves as a great source of card advantage and a wincon with Top.

  • Mirrormade
    This card is 1cmc more than Copy Artifact, but can also copy enchantments (which is useful for this meme). Due to this being a meme deck, I'm willing to give this extra mana a shot, but I won't be slotting out Copy Artifact. This may be a meme deck, but I still want it to be able to pivot back to being a strong and viable deck if need be (like if Food Chain gets countered/exiled before you can steal/copy it).

  • Witching Well
    This is a 1 cmc, scry 2 artifact that can also draw 2 cards later in the game. Seems very useful, so I'll be testing this out. I won't be surprised if it's a good addition.
