Piloting Notes

Our commander, Mirko, Obsessive Theoristfoil is deceptively powerful once online.
You don’t need him to be huge—just bigger than 1. Use cheap surveil pieces early to grow him fast. At 2+ power, he starts recurring value bodies each end step. Don’t worry about swinging—vigilance is nice, but he’s safer holding the line and fueling recursion. Be careful about over-voltroning him as we do not run much to protect him, so don't be afraid to use Power Conduit or Fain, the Broker on other creatures.

Surveil Priorities:
Big reanimation targets: Archon of Crueltyfoil, Grave Titan, Overseer of the Damned
Flashback spells: Deep Analysis, Think Twice
Unearth creatures: Sea Gate Oracle, Ledger Shredder, Dimir Spybug , Baleful Strix, Mirko, Obsessive Theoristfoil himself
Extra lands or rocks when flooded

About Deep Analysis:
Ignore the upfront cost—we never cast it that way. It’s 2 mana from the graveyard for 2 cards. Discard it, surveil it, flash it back. Clean and efficient.
