Maybeboard

The main goal of the deck is to ramp really hard using a combination of spells, mana doublers, and dudes until I reach a critical mass of mana. At that point, I want to either cast a huge X-spell, a fattie, or Kamahl and use him to overrun multiple times with all of my ramp dorks.

Kamahl is great as a commander for several reasons. He serves as an excellent mana sink in the lategame, and often ends games really quickly. He also deters wraths whenever I have open mana by threatening to turn lands into creatures. Generally, when I have a boardstate I want to protect I leave up enough mana to severely cripple whoever decides to wrath, forcing them to either use spot removal on Kamahl first or just get knocked out of the game.

Updates Add

Picked up EDH again after a 2-ish year hiatus and boy have I missed it. Kamahl went 3-0 in his first night back so he deserves some goodies. Now that I make money I can buy some of the cards I had on MTGO that were too expensive in paper, as well as add some cards that have come out in the meantime.

1 Thragtusk

1 Solemn Simulacrum
