Everything in this deck exists to make ETB abilities trigger or enhance those triggers. Unsurprisingly, it is creature-heavy, with a tendency toward elementals for the benefit of Risen Reef. Several blink effects and trigger multipliers, such as Conjurer's Closet and Panharmonicon, are essential to make the deck run at optimal capacity. There is also a reanimation subtheme with cards such as Boneyard Parley and Agadeem's Awakening to ensure that you always have access to your most powerful effects. Ramp is done primarily through fetching for lands and landfall triggers; a few artifacts are there, but hey don't interact with the beneficial landfall effects. Important to note that this is not a lands-matter deck, but could easily be converted into one.

Primary Win Conditions: 1) Use Altar of the Brood in conjunction with cards like Scute Swarm and Avenger of Zendikar to mill out your opponents. The trigger multipliers like Yarok and Panharmonicon build up quickly. 2) Combat. The deck isn't properly built around combat kills, but it can be done. 2.5) Opponent scooping due to being stuck. This goes in tandem with combat and requires that blink effects be on the board for consistent results. Agent of Treachery can steal anything, Terastadon can blow up lands, and Archon of Cruelty makes an opponent sacrifice creatures. Looping and multiplying these effects will quickly bring the game to an end.

Due to the way that Yarok is played, it requires a fair bit of interaction to keep from being immediately killed by the other players. There is a respectable control package, with a few counters and consistent artifact/enchantment removal. Spot removal for creatures is less available, but a couple cards can do it. Use Shipwreck Dowser, Eternal Witness, and Timeless Witness to keep your hand stocked with control pieces.

Overall, the deck is a joy to pilot as long as you don't mind dealing with triggered abilities on the stack.
