Daretti, Scrap Savant, Stax, cedh is a highly mana disruptive control deck, constructed for competitive commander games.

The decks strategy is to take early control of the board and the mana base of its opponents. Daretti, Scrap Savant enters the battlefield on the 2nd turn or 3rd turn, in some rare situations on turn 1. The card filter ability of Daretti, Scrap Savant carries the deck due to card selection and gives the deck strong early turns. Therefore it is vital for the deck to drop Daretti, Scrap Savant on the battlefield no later than turn 2 or turn 3.

The players hand empties quickly, Wheel of Fortune, Reforge the Soul refill the hand and provide that Daretti, Scrap Savant, Stax does not run out of gas.

It is weak to counter magic, thus there are several silver bullets in the list to make these matchups more favorable, like Boseiju, Who Shelters All.

Another weakness is the lack of cards that provide interaction. It is very important for the deck to run instants like Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast to protect your spells from counter magic or to prohibit powerful blue spells from resolving. Abrade and Chaos Warp are mediocre removal spells but being instants cards, both cards do their job well.

Against multi-colored decks, Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, Ruination are onesided lock cards. As this decklist runs very few non-basic lands, these cards have nearly no downside for you.

To counter strong combo decks Daretti, Scrap Savant, Stax, has a lot of powerful cards to foil their match plan.
Sphere of Resistance, Lodestone Golem, Trinisphere wreck storm strategies, Stranglehold, Grafdigger's Cage, Cursed Totem either hinder tutor effects, graveyard shenanigans or creature abilities.

Strong red massive land destruction (MLD) spells like Wildfire or Devastation are finally clearing the board and setup one of the lock pieces.

Possessed Portal and Ward of Bones are sealing the board state and create a hardlock for opponents.
