A relatively budget deck for under $200, with a strong focus on playing Etali early with haste, and replaying him again a few times after he inevitably gets killed. There's an emphasis on card draw, as my playgroup tends to play lots of planar cleansing effects, and the most reliable way to come back after all the mana rocks explode is to play new ones.

The name of the game is consistency, we want to make sure that every game we are playing Etali to get that sweet attack trigger. As a result, the commonly played theme of top deck manipulation and sneak attack style cheating of mana cost is entirely cut. No sensei's, scroll rack, ulamog, kozilek, etc. This is to make room for more cards which can allow recasting Etali for 12 mana with haste as soon as the 2nd turn after somebody resolved play of the game. That's a real goal of the deck, and compromises have to be made.

I own this deck in paper. Of course, it's not this exact list anymore, but within 5 cards.
