This was my first real EDH deck, and if any of my decks are, this is my flagship deck. It was actually built on a dare, essentially. While first exploring the format (mostly putting together terrible decks out of whatever was on hand), Jakob Larson posited that mono-color decks were not only incapable of being fun, but were inherently crippled and couldn't possibly be any good. Well, challenge accepted. I originally wanted to use Azusa, Lost but Seeking but all I had was Omnath, so I went with him. Sure enough, after a few games, he'd proven his worth as a powerful, relevant, and most importantly interesting commander. One of this deck's most interesting achievements is that it has no infinite combos or loops, but can get arbitrarily high numbers on a lot of things. It has the reigning title of highest non-infinite number I've ever seen in Magic: I once had a Chameleon Colossus with a power and toughness of 2.7 sexdecillion. Written out that's a total power of 2,700,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. Funnily enough, I lost that game.
