Judith leads a Rarity Restricted build designed to sling pain at our enemies every time something of ours dies.

Currently goldfishing while the decklist is finished.

She comes down early, buffs the team, and likes to watch things die. This Diva will hold down center stage our audience-participation stage show.
- Thrills Judith buffs the team and comes down early; this translates to an aggressive strategy, so we're on the lookout for low CMC cards with offensive potential, evasion, and strategic support for our other themes. Bloodghast , Nether Traitor and Bloodsoaked Champion all provide repeatable, aggressive bodies on the low end, while heavy hitters like Neheb, the Eternal , Ob Nixilis, Unshackled and Sheoldred, Whispering One give top-end power. Since some of our low-end options are going to lack the potential to end the game frequently enough, we'll add a few pieces of equipment into the mix to help them get extra value and encourage more aggression on our part: Infiltration Lens draws cards, Sword of the Animist finds lands, Lightning Greaves give haste and protection, etc.
- Chills Chills probably isn't the best word here. We're talking about slinging fire. Judith spits out the heat whenever something we control dies, and we have a lot of options for redundency with Blood Artist , Zulaport Cutthroat , and more. But, we can also bring the heat in other ways: Flayer of the Hatebound synergizes with many of the cards in the deck to unleash waves of pain, Kokusho, the Evening Star and Gray Merchant of Asphodel demolish lifetotals, and Vicious Shadows can be absolutely crushing.
- Spills Judith pays off when our creatures die, so we're going to do that a lot. We'll include creatures that can either sac themselves for value, such as Burnished Hart and Shriekmaw , and payoff when they get sac'd, like Solemn Simulacrum . We also are going to include those that we can sac over and over again, like Squee, the Immortal and Reassembling Skeleton . We'll need sac outlets: Ashnod's Altar , Sadistic Hypnotist and Thallid Soothsayer all fulfill core needs while letting the bodies hit the floor. Finally, to ensure we don't burn ourselves out too quickly, we've got a suite dedicated to keeping the show going. This includes Garna, the Bloodflame , Reanimate , and Trading Post .
- Grand Finale When all else fails, we've got infinite combos that can close out the game with Judith on the board. See if you can find them all!
Here's some of the cool, interesting, and powerful interactions in the deck:
- Nim Deathmantle and Ashnod's Altar . These two are powerful together, and go infinite simply by adding another card.
- Judith, the Scourge Diva and Basilisk Collar or Grafted Exoskeleton . Judith's ability says she deals the damage; these pieces of gear enable her to make that 1 damage a lot more meaningful.
- Mana Geyser and Torment of Hailfire . This can wreck house unexpectedly; hold up a Red Elemental Blast incase of counterspells.
- Reassembling Skeleton , Pitiless Plunderer , and Ashnod's Altar . Sac skeleton to altar, make and a treasure; sac the treasure and use to return skeleton. Each loop nets and 1 death trigger!
Judith's decklist was built using arbitrary restrictions based on card rarity. A maximum of 10 mythics, 20 rares, 30 uncommons and 40 commons can be included - and those limits include all lands and the commander. Rarities can be downgraded, 1:1, and a card printed at multiple rarities counts at it's lowest printing.
