Golos’s goal when he comes into play is digging for Cascading Cataracts so you’ll have all the colors of the rainbow when you need it. This lands matter deck is truly that. The way the deck wins is by playing, sacking, discarding and/or returning lands to your hand all to be played again and again.

Win cons include:

  • Maze's End and all the gates. (not the primary win con by any means) Some cards that help move that along quicker are Scapeshift, Reshape the Earth and Elvish Reclaimer
  • The Retreat to Coralhelm + Walking Atlas combo for infinite landfall triggers. Also need Oboro, Palace in the Clouds or Meloku the Clouded Mirror or Storm Cauldron or any 2 bounce lands to keep bouncing lands back to your hand to make the infinite part of the combo work. With Crumbling Vestigethis combo will give you infinite mana of any color and Sunscorched Desert will ping the table to death. The walking atlas part isn’t actually needed if you have Patron of the Moon and Amulet of Vigor in play and a bounce land in play and one in hand. Play the bounce in hand returning the bounce in play and since it enters untapped thanx to the amulet tap for two and use one to pay for the patrons ability to put land into play, rinse and repeat for infinite landfall triggers. This route also gives you infinite mana in whatever colors of bounces you are using.
  • Borborygmos Enraged + Dakmor Salvage + The Gitrog Monster. Discard the salvage from Borbor’s ability which triggers Gitrog to draw which allows you to dredge the salvage back to your hand which lets you rinse and repeat pinging the table to death. And Life from the Loam will bring lands back to your hand that have been dredged. And once you’ve dredged a bunch more lands to the yard dredge loam back and get more lands.
  • Infinite turns using nothing but these four lands: Magosi, the Waterveil + Nesting Grounds + Deserted Temple + Karn's Bastion Now for how it works: First you’ll need to have all 4 of the lands in play. Next, to get the whole thing started you have to skip at least one of your turns to get the initial eon counter put on Magosi. Once that is done proliferate using the bastion. Next move one of the counters off magosi using the nesting grounds to put one of the eon counters on itself. Now activate Magosi for the first time taking off the counter and return Magosi to your hand getting your first extra turn, during your extra turn play Magosi again, untap it using the deserted temple, next proliferate using Karn’s Bastion to get a second eon counter, now activate the nesting grounds to move one of the eon counters to Magosi, next activate Magosi to remove the eon counter and return Magosi to your hand to get your second extra turn and then rinse and repeat the steps from your last extra turn to take any amount of extra turns it takes for you to win the game. I know this is a janky and convoluted win con but since all the pieces are lands it was worth it to me to include it.
  • Ob Nixilis, the Fallen if he manages to stick around long enough. But depending on your boardstate you may be able to pick off a couple opponents the turn he enters.
  • Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle combined with Dryad of the Ilysian Grove along with multiple lands per turn.
  • Tunneling Geopede plus lots of lands per turn.
  • Geode Rager to make your opponents kill each other first so you only have to deal with one weakened opponent.
  • Token swarm from all the cards that make tokens from landfall triggers.

  • Retreat to Emeria

  • Felidar Retreat
  • Zendikar's Roil
  • Seed the Land
  • Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer
  • Sporemound
  • Scute Swarm
  • Rampaging Baloths
  • Omnath, Locus of Rage
  • Nesting Dragon
  • Emeria Angel
  • Maja, Bretagard Protector
  • Field of the Dead and to a lesser extent
  • Meloku the Clouded Mirror who doesn’t produce tokens through landfall but does make tokens by providing more lands for the other landfall triggers.

Ancient Greenwarden and Yarok, the Desecrated will help make all this happen faster by doubling and tripling every landfall trigger in the deck. By cloning the greenwarden with Mirrorpool and Littjara Mirrorlake you can quadruple and more the landfall triggers. And with the wardens other ability replay the two lands and just keep making copies of it.

Out: All 10 of the guild bounce lands.

In:

The latter 4 cards can and will help provide you with infinite turns if you’re so inclined to take advantage of an infinite combo such as this. Thought of this combo of cards while trying to come up with a way to break Magosi in a different deck I’m building. Given all the components to do this are lands I figured this combo would be a perfect fit for this deck.
