The name is an inside joke; a friend of mine meant to ask what the damage was for falling down a staircase, but he asked for what the damage of a falling staircase was. We all at the table reasoned that it would probably be pretty high; staircases are heavy. So are these creatures, and, thanks to Doran, they will all become falling staircases.

The musical joke for this one is self-explanatory.
