Wanted to build an atraxa deck outside of the traditional superfriends/+1/1 counters/infect builds. This is what I ended up with.

So, the big elements here.

We're trying to win one of a couple of ways

  1. Take all the turns with Magistrate's Scepter. If we have a way to keep a steady stream of charges going on the scepter, we just take all the turns and kill that way.

  2. Darksteel Reactor. We have numerous ways to increase the speed with which we are applying charge counters. Doublers are especially useful for this wincon.

  3. Myojin. We have a couple of ways to cheat them out early, but additionally have ways to ramp to their costs and then keep them swimming in divinity counters. Having the ability to keep their abilities churning provides massive value.

  4. Cathars' Crusade. This card is ludicrous with large token production such as Orochi Hatchery, Hangarback Walker, and Chasm Skulker. If you can trigger any of these to go produce their tokens, you can end up with a massive board. And it is just a clock in its own right if you are deploying creatures.

  5. Commander damage. Atraxa is a really solid card in her own right. However, the ability to give her counters, especially with something like Fate Transfer can make her lethal in a much quicker manner. Putting twenty counters on her at instant speed midcombat is pretty nice.

So those are the major kills with the deck, but you can also just value out and get wins that way. The deck does an excellent job at just generating stupidly high value by continually proliferating. Have fun!

Noticed that during testing, the deck was never having mana issues, but I would frequently be flooding out with little do do but recast my commander. Adding in more powerful effects to get me over that hurdle.
