Step one: Make Treasure tokens

Step two: ????

Step three: Win game

Memes aside, this decks main focus is to make as much treasure tokens as you can so that you can alternatively win with effects of Revel in Riches and Mechanized Production. Cards such as Pitiless Plunderer and Ruthless Knave will help you in your endeavors to make more treasure tokens along side the various entering/leaving trigger effects such as: Brazen Freebooter and Dire Fleet Hoarder. Though, if the original plan of winning through Revel in Riches or Mechanized Production doesn't work, don't worry about it because the back-up strategy is just to simply hit your opponents' faces with pirates.

Since you will be working with Artifact Treasure tokens, that will mean that you will have an abundance of mana to play some big-boy spells like Star of Extinction when your opponents are going a bit out of control. Though, when you pull Storm the Vault, sacrificing your treasure tokens will not be as necessary as before since the flip card will eventually give you blue mana for every artifact you control which will (hopefully) be a decent amount.

The back-up strategy of being aggressive is supplemented with a good amount cards with combat triggers such as Fathom Fleet Captain and Warkite Marauder, cards with Raid, and support cards such as Dire Fleet Neckbreaker. Caution should be heeded if this strategy is forced into play. Reason is due to the presence of Trove of Temptation within the deck.

Weaknesses of this deck is that you will be relying on your creatures immensely due to their trigger effects and less than half of those the trigger effects are combat based, so cards such as Crawlspace and Ghostly Prison will put a damper on your maximum damage output if you need to win through damage. Artifact removal will be a thorn in your side and cards like Furnace Dragon and Hellkite Tyrant will be your bane if you want to win through alternative means. Counter spells, removal, and board-wipes are at a minimum to maximize treasure token generation so good decision making is must if one is in a sticky situation.
