Prying Blade Discussion

Loxodon Warhammer Would be a good equipment to add since it will give your commander Lifelink although trample won’t matter as much.
A wonderful aura I use in my voltron decks is Vanishing since it will let you phase out your commander in response to removal.

Cool deck! Bludgeon Brawl seems fun here. Locket of Yesterdays is kinda neat with Silas. These might interest you too: Sharding Sphinx , Inquisitor's Flail , Scourglass , Scrapyard Recombiner , Sensei's Divining Top , Spell Swindle , Brass's Bounty , Prying Blade , Chandra's Ignition , Scythe of the Wretched

What I suggest to cut: Brazen Buccaneers - seems rather lackluster. Crafty Cutpurse - seems rather situational. Do you play with anyone who is creating a butt-ton of tokens of any kind in a turn? If not, ditch it. Deadeye Tormentor could probably go.
Where is Revel in Riches ? Not running that card seems...off theme, for sure. I might consider running Prying Blade over Embercleave , mainly because it can give you treasure tokens, and treasure tokens are good.
That's the best I can do for now.

Continuing with King Macar, the Gold-Cursed (Cursed King bros!), Magnifying Glass , Pitiless Plunderer , Prying Blade , Ruthless Knave , Tamiyo's Journal , Tireless Tracker , Ulvenwald Mysteries , and Vraska, Relic Seeker .

Unwinding Clock was actually in the very first draft of this deck, but I found it was actually never quite enough. I would never search for it instead of Paradox Engine , and even if I had engine on the field I would hold up any tutors in case it died instead of finding Unwinding Clock as a back up.
Prying Blade is far too slow and expensive at 3 mana to get rolling, also combat damage is very rarely something we are concerned about. We attack of course, but wont get enough combat steps in to get any sort of significant value from cads like that before we end up just comboing off. So it usually becomes a 3 mana expense, in order to have 2-ish mana in the future.
and Smothering Tithe is already in the deck ( ^-^)

Just want to clarify something I saw: You cannot fuse Wear/Tear when casting it with Sunforger. The fuse ability explicitly states you can cast them both from your hand.

TheRedGoat: Honestly, Scroll Thief and Smuggler's Copter SEEM bad, but they consistently draw me into my lands and my control pieces. I'm never ever disappointed when I see them in my opener. Inundate isn't a bad idea XD but I'd rather just play Merchant Scroll / Spellseeker to grab Cyclonic Rift for example, in that slot. The other rattlesnakes are... okay? But I'd usually prefer outright control or counters in that slot (I don't like giving my opponents choices when I punish them). I tested Hidden Strings , Last Thoughts , and Hands of Binding , but they all got cut :( Last Thoughts is strictly worse than Scroll Thief in this list, and the other two were too low-impact overall. The issue with Sakashima's Student and Ninja of the Deep Hours is that they're only unblockable ONCE in this list (they have too large of a P/T to be unblockable here). Teferi's Veil and Siren Stormtamer might have a home here, avoiding removal? Honestly unsure, I've definitely considered both. Prying Blade ups my power, which I actively want to avoid XD Verity Circle might make it in here, it's been really REALLY good in The Locust God , though Rhystic Study would get that slot first. Murmuring Mystic could be cute I suppose (paired with Bident of Thassa ? wooooooo that seems hilarious). But Time Stop really isn't my jam in multiplayer: it makes me tap out and be unable to answer anything :( Thanks for the thoughts!
TJFNIJ: Oh, that's cute XD I like that, but it's 10 mana before I get the pump effect (assuming I want to pay echo), so I think I may have to skip it for now.
