Prying Blade Discussion
Gabichu I just got back to playing MtG a couple days ago and I'm still trying to remember how to play the game tbh, so I've been updating it recently.
The trick a while back was to stock up on mana from Prying Blade and stack Amulet of Vigor with a dual mana like Gruul Turf, since each untapping of the lands stack, to then using Increasing Vengeance twice with another spell, depending on the current situation.
The main problem that I remember about this type of deck is the turn 5 meta, so I thought about replacing Prying Blade with Fountain of Renewal for stalling, but I really don't think a small consistent source of life is better than a burst mana source, right?
Sarkhan Unbroken Is there because I have it already, and because it's either a mana battery or a token maker on the turn it's summoned, a 5 CMC for either 5/3 pseudolife and 1 Flying Token/ Draw + 1 Mana is a good trade to me.

Sadistic Hypnotist- all your opponents lose their hands, elf triggers, good stuff. Dark Deal, more Nath triggers. Geth's Grimoire draws you crazy cards with wheels. Megrim, Liliana's Caress, Fell Specter, Raiders' Wake are all good for a discard deck. I'd throw Mind Slash in this deck too.

to have a black source by turn 5 to play the card you need at least 6 black sources. The thing is you will never ever need more than 1 black source, so there are two ways to go about it. Prying Blade doesnt quite count as 1 source since its not directly a manasource. it needs to go through loops to become that. you can count them as 1/2 a source each, so you currently have 2. Now to make up the other 4 you can either go with 4 swamps, which leaves a chance of getting more that one source(which you dont need) or you can go with a combination of Evolving Wilds and swamps. I wouldnt quite lower swamp counts to a 1 of since there are cards out there, however uncommon they may be that can target lands. id say 2 evolving wilds, 2 swamps may be worth a test. it slows your landbase down slightly, but you dont have the risk(however unlikely) of drawing an opening hand of 3 swamps.
playtest 2 evolving wilds/2 swamps, 19 islands for the budget route. The other way would be 4 duel lands...but you have Field of Ruin, which is more common that other land destroying cards, and its expensive.

As a casual deck it looks fun and fair. You're right about losing some of the worse pirates to increase the numbers of the better ones. And pirates aren't expensive right now.
Maybe look into Captivating Crew and Captain Lannery Storm. Both can help stabilize your field in their own way. Captivating crew will steal creatures and Lannery is decent to help speed up your hands. Might also try something like Pirate's Cutlass or Prying Blade as well. I like casual so these aren't game breaking suggestions.

Oh man! This will be a challenge :p
As I said before, the biggest issue you will come across is how to get your ninjas back to be used with your unblockable creatures. Besides the suggestions I already gave you, a card like Paradoxical Outcome can help protect against boardwipes, draw cards, and bounce your ninjas in one tidy little package! :)
Deepfathom Skulker can be a good top-ender for your curve. Baral's Expertise is always fun and powerful as it allows flexibility on what you bounce (maybe a threat, maybe a ninja) and then you get something out for free. Disappearing Act is a redundant effect for Familiar's Ruse.
Your selection of evasive creatures is decent, but there's more more reliable ways of doing it in abilities like shadow (which you are already including) and horsemanship. Both of these are more reliable than flying for all intents and purposes. I do like the rogue synergy with Notorious Throng but it may still be a good idea to make some replacements with no-mbos such as Oona's Blackguard, Glen Elendra Liege, and Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive.
Think about including Prying Blade in your ramp package. It's better than it looks in a multiplayer format, and you have unblockable creatures to boot :)
I would look into Curse of the Swine, Evacuation and Devastation Tide as boardwipes, over the finale (albeit it being very powerful. The problem is, it will be harder for you to recover from a true boardwipe, and your opponents will be playing those most probably. If you want a harder form of removal, I'd look into Living Death. A card like Haunted Crossroads can also be very helpful at times.
That's all I have right now... Let me know what you think of these cards, and if you'd want to try some or all of them, or others out, we can work on making cuts for the replacements :)

Hey Struyk, what an awesome deck! I didn't realise that there were so many unblockable creatures in standard at the moment, it really opens the way for all these fun decks.
I immediately thought of buffing those unblockable creatures to deal massive damage while spells like Dive Down, Curator's Ward or Shalai, Voice of Plenty together with Siren Stormtamer would most likely offer you a lot of protection and a way to close out the game quickly. Standard doesn't give great access to hexproof creatures at the moment which is the other way this might work, just like the modern bogles deck, the best one being Slippery Scoundrel which is very unreliable.
The one enchantment I really love in this deck, and doesn't even require any protection since it doesn't put that big a target on itself is Curious Obsession, in my opinion the strongest aura in standard at the moment. Put it on a one drop unblockable turn 2, and get a card out of it immediately. The on disadvantage of aura's is that they tend to be 2 for 1's if your opponent can just kill the creature, but with Curious Obsession drawing you cards, that downside is minimalized. Prodigious Growth is a rather funny one, but probably not good in this deck since you have to heavily splash for it since it costs double green.
Other than aura's that have their disadvantages, you can also look at equipements in order to increase the power of your unblockable creatures. Torch Gauntlet, Marauder's Axe and Forebear's Blade are very basic equipment that just increase the damage a lot. Rogue's Gloves just gives some some nice value, but is inferior to Curious Obsession in my opinion. Some equipment that do both are Prying Blade and Dowsing Dagger Flip, especially the Dowsing Dagger Flip is great since your opponent can't do anything with the creatures since yours are unblockable.
So in conclusion, I would cut the creature count down to around 20, and keep the ones that don't need other ones to be unblockable. This would probably mean that I would cut Combat Celebrant, Warkite Marauder and probably Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive. I would also cut Ovalchase Dragster. Then I would add around 8 Buff cards, 4 Curious Obsession and then some equipments, and fill all leftover spots with cheap anti-removal like Negate. This way your deck can definitely race other decks, while not giving your opponent a lot of room to interact. You can also consider Trumpet Blast or some other mass team buff spell. However, this changes the deck a lot, and doesn't have to be better. If you would like to stick to the current iteration of this deck, I would still advise Curious Obsession as well as perhaps some team buff spells and/or some more counter spells, probably not anti-creature counters, but anti-spell like Negate. The burn spells in the sideboard are a good idea, I would add some extra creature removal there.

Thanks for checking it out! I wasn't really sure what "low budget" range was, and by checking the other "budget" decks I was well around half the cost of those I checked. A simple solution to the cost is taking out History of Benalia which is $15 a piece if I'm not mistaken.
For a twenty dollar version:
Add: x3 Dauntless Bodyguard
Thanks again for checking it out! Hope your friend enjoys it!
