This is a Klothys, God of Destiny MLD (Mass Land Destruction) Prison list for cEDH. The main difference between this and the other Klothys MLD lists floating around the net is that this one is built around land-based acceleration as opposed to artifacts and dorks, which while less explosive ultimately benefits by allowing a higher land count (38/9) which naturally MLD-proofs the deck compared with the majority of competitive lists running 30 or fewer lands. We also run more hard MLD spells than most other Klothys lists (8 vs the usual 4-5). The land theme fits with the deck's strategy of board control through sweepers and stax; we want to minimize blowing up/shutting off our own sh*t. The core idea of the deck is to 'MLD-proof' yourself by using Klothys or other cards such as Life from the Loam, Thawing Glaciers, Shigeki, Jukai Visionary, Wrenn and Six, Ragavan, etc. which allow you to more easily recover after an MLD spell. Because this is the primary wincon, I really tried to max the amount of MLD+sweeper bombs, artifact hate, and anti-counterspell measures above all else. I also cut as much of the combo component as I could, to focus on MLD cards which provide '1-card-wins' with Kloth as opposed to 2-piece combos like Dualcaster Mage/Twinflame which may be dead cards when the combo is not fully assembled, and are also vulnerable to creature removal (same deal w Kiki). This makes room for some very spicy cards like Lifeforce, Seismic Assault, and Jaya Ballard, Task Mage. Still running Underworld Breach because it's so good and the breach line usually involves just digging for MLD using Jeskas/Wheel, then Finale of Devastation can be a hasty finisher on an empty board. Most of the time we kill players by grinding them down with Klothys over 10+ turns while preventing them from doing anything meaningful by shutting off all of their mana one way or another and exiling all their combo cards out of the yard. I have found this strategy to be surprisingly effective, as well as satisfying to play with a lot of strategic and political choices, and of course the fun of resolving massive uncounterable MLD spells (fun for you at least!)

tl;dr The deck is designed to punish the greediest top tier decks in the format by turning off their artifacts and nonbasic manabase. Some decks will of course be able to subvert this and you will lose some games, getting narrowly edged out or from a massive blowout like Teferi's Protection. Still, this deck is quite capable of bringing an entire table of tier 1 cEDH decks completely to their knees and slowly crushing the life out of them all, and I think that's pretty sweet.
