: Counter target black spell.

Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to look at the deck and even make suggestions.
I have considered Azusa, Lost but Seeking but in my meta, board wipes are abundant. That's why i favor Nissa, Vastwood Seer Flip over other green commanders because of her +1 to help get me back in the game. (and deck-thinning whenever i re-cast her but people always laugh at that percentage)
Mox Diamond is a tough one, It is a great card but the -1 land for Nissa, Vastwood Seer Flip makes me feel bad. I do have Ramunap Excavator but i tend to use him for emergencies to get my Eye of Ugin back in case it gets destroyed. Carpet of Flowers might have a place in this deck and my meta.
Ritual of Subdual and other stax pieces I tend to shy away from because of the immediate hate it generates. Granted a lot of people already hate me because they all know I play Eldrazi, so I might have to re-think my stance. For starters I had Null Rod , Collector Ouphe and Hall of Gemstone in mind.
God-Eternal Rhonas could be worth a shot, I do have some flex spots. Painter's Servant what a nasty card. The Grindstone combo does violate the LGS rules, but what i had in mind was to combo it with Lifeforce that and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon -X pops everyone's lands or if i feel like restarting the game I use it with All Is Dust .
I like where this deck is going, it feels really versatile for a Mono Green deck. I'll try to update it soon and get some games in for more data. Once again thanks for the help guys I really appreciate it.

Ok, so I'm disappointed about Paradox Engine being banned and the effect that's going to have on a number of established competitive decks.
That being said, SWEET! I've been hoping that they would unban Painter's Servant for years now! It's essentially a second Spellskite for Animar that also makes Animar unblockable. Now it's not just Duel Commander Animar decks that get to have all the fun.
Painter's Servant opens up a variety of other options for other decks too. Mono Green gets to abuse Lifeforce and improve the viability of cards like Autumn's Veil and Veil of Summer . Mono black has Deathgrip . Lifeforce is probably the better card because it shuts down a number of dangerous black cards on its own, and might now find a home in Yisan, the Wanderer Bard decks since Yisan can tutor up the Servant to help Lifeforce lock down cards that get past its stax pieces. And, of course, the Servant also opens up the ability to pick opponents off with Grindstone .

Sandwurm Convergence would be useful late-game. Brooding Saurian might be a good utility piece. Homeward Path is better but $$. Verdurous Gearhulk maybe? Rhonas the Indomitable and Predator Ooze might make good blockers.

Ahah! I found your deck! Lol... You were on LabManiacs' stream a couple days ago right? I'm trying to build a MonoG Stax deck and was happy to see yours. Also really happy someone else knows Lifeforce exists. Was like the 4th card I put in mine. Great stuff!

Suggestions on delaying a win until turn 6? So I can basically drop her and go off.
I made a few changes to my version to help with that..
Lifeforce to deal with black removal (use is little too narrow..)
Asceticism is sweet, but kinda pricy CMC wise to get out quickly
Another option, assuming I have the cards in hand, is dropping her early, and doing the old destroy everyone's permanents with the Staff of Domination Beast Within, Somberwald Stag, Eternal Witness and Temur Sabertooth combo - then just wait until turn 6 (not very nice, but hey)
Any other thoughts?

Seer's Sundial + Tireless Tracker -> Regal Force + Recycle. This is a better and cheaper draw spell. Recycle synergies with Courser of Kruphix and Oracle of Mul Daya (if you choose to add them), Regal Force can stabalize a dicey board position.
Lifeforce + Seedtime -> Asceticism + Genesis Wave. Lifeforce and Seedtime are cute, but won't do what you want them to do. Asceticism deals with most removal fairly efficiently and Genesis Wave wins on the spot.

odd mechanics in green:
Bellowing Tanglewurm, Beacon Behemoth, Avoid Fate, Cream of the Crop, City of Solitude, Brooding Saurian, Heartwood Storyteller, Gurzigost, Genju of the Cedars, Gaea's Liege, Freyalise's Winds, Fertile Imagination, Eyes of the Wisent, Engulfing Slagwurm, Elven Warhounds, Elephant Grass, Hermit of the Natterknolls Flip, Hidden Gibbons (and the other hidden creatures / enchantments), Dosan the Falling Leaf, Holistic Wisdom, Hornet Sting, Hunted Troll, Ichneumon Druid, Kashi-Tribe Reaver (and the rest of kashi-tri, if only for the lockdown mechanic), Lifeforce, Lignify, Lost in the Woods, Mammoth Harness, Meandering Towershell, Midsummer Revel, Mindbender Spores, Mortal Wound, Multani, Maro-Sorcerer, Nacatl War-Pride, Nature's Wrath, Night Soil (okay, this one is odd - because the colon is after the removal of creatures, it happens faster than players can respond or trigger to - it happens at the "cost" step of activating the ability), Noxious Revival, Panglacial Wurm, Permeating Mass, Planeswalker's Favor, Protean Hydra, Quirion Druid, Recycle, Revelation, Riftsweeper, Rite of Passage, Root Maze, Rootrunner, Rust, Scarwood Bandits, Sprouting Phytohydra, Sporogenesis, Spike Tiller, Sheltering Ancient, Selvala's Charge, Sekki, Seasons' Guide, Wave of Vitriol, Wonderlust, Vernal Equinox, Unyaro Bees, Typhoon, Tropical Storm, Tornado, Tempting Wurm, Tempting Licid, Symbiotic Deployment, Superior Numbers, Stunted Growth, Wild Mammoth, Wolfcaller's Howl, Worldspine Wurm, Xantid Swarm, and Yavimaya Dryad
No data for this card yet.
