Creature (33)

Planeswalker (10)

Land (39)

From a heated debate on the viability of Jace as best MTG waifu, the Waifu Warz deck was formed! The deck features some of the most iconic legendary/planeswalker waifus in Magic's history.

The commander is Sliver Queen not because it's a sliver deck, but because she's the only WUBRG commander that is most certainly female. Also, a queen in the harem? Yes please.

The Rules of Deck Construction:

1) All non-land art must feature only females prominently (with exceptions to come later). The waifus have pledged to assist us.

2) Only one of any character is included. As cool as time paradox double waifus are, the flavor fail is too strong.

3) One card from Legends and one card for Portal: Three Kingdoms must be included. There will be plenty of representation from the other eras of Magic, and those sets have so many legends that are hot garbage. Gotta spread the love.

4) All creatures/planeswalkers have been chosen for either their good value or their good fan service. I respect anyone who doesn't agree with choosing cards like Kemba, Kha Regent without equipment, but since this deck started as a discussion of anime tropes, I would be remiss if I didn't include an excellent example of furry cleavage.

Exceptions

1) Gideon Jura, handsome dude-bro extraordinaire, is included for those who desire a husbando instead of a waifu. This also allows for Call the Gatewatch and Deploy the Gatewatch, which are good and depict characters in the deck.

2) Jace Beleren keeps on insisting that she's male, but she looks very effeminate, so she stays.

3) Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is the best waifu. In addition, he is very handsome, smart, and humble. He would also like me to clarify that his inclusion among the waifus in no way implies that he felt left out and that he would never mind control me in order to include him in the deck. That would be silly.

Additional Standouts

Kiora, the Crashing Wave beat out Emrakul, the Promised End for the token tentacle waifu, mostly on artwork.

Visara the Dreadful has surprisingly potent fan service.

The deck contains the entire Teen Girl Squad from Innistrad: Avacyn, Angel of Hope (cheerleader!), Gisela, Blade of Goldnight (so-and-so!), Sigarda, Host of Herons (what's-her-face!), and Bruna, the Fading Light (the ugly one!).

Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts has got some nice Power Girl cosplay going on.

Complain about how your waifu wasn't selected in the comments!
