I am currently working on building my own version of a Teferi chain veil deck.

I plan on buying fetch lands, Jace, The Mind Sculptor, Stasis very soon.

The differences between my Teferi and some of the primers (besides the really expensive cards):

1. I like Disallow, Overwhelming Denial and Cryptic Command better than some of cheaper Counters in the Primer decks. Yes I know they cost more mana, but I will never be mad to draw into a Disallow or Cryptic since they are so versatile and Overwhelming Denial is a perfect counter to have when you cast The Chain Veil. Delay might take over one of these slots.

2. Spellskite is OP in this deck as the ultimate protection of any permanent on my board. I don't understand why more people don't run him.

3. Walking Ballista and Staff of Domination are both win-cons with infinite mana. I may replace one of them when I get Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Probably will replace Walking Ballista.

4. Scorched Ruins is the one land I go back and forth on. It is an insane amount of mana with Teferi -1, but I have to get rid of 2 islands that I might need to play instants.

5. I like the Isochron/Dramatic Reversal in this deck because I can tutor for both cards, and if I end up using Dramatic before I play Isochron, I can always exile Counterspell or Mana Drain to it.
