Lets all welcome back a forgotten friend from the depths of the swampy jungle. Since the recent rule change to the commander zone effects... skullbriar is off the charts. There is NO WAY to lose his counters once they are on him. Tucked into library? Nope... send him to the command zone. Sent to owners hand ?? Nope, put him in the command zone. Same with destroy, exile etc etc.

Life is great for our Briar friend. We even prefer our enemies to board wipe... because they clear the field and often we swing for commander critical with haste on our next turn : )

Obviously Aluren is a god send in this deck. I thought about even building a combo briar with death and enter field triggers.... But I am the hulk smash kinda guy and I like my counters.
