Unlocking the Impossible: Marina’s 5-Color Door Enchantments

Can one warlock truly open every door in the mansion of the multiverse? This Marina Vendrell deck explores that question by blending 5-color enchantress value, Room and Door mechanics, and blink synergy into a dazzling web of recursive magic. The goal is to build a living house of enchantments each “room” offering control, card advantage, and combo potential until every opponent is locked out and your victory is inevitable.

✨ How the Deck Works

Marina acts as both your engine and card advantage engine, filtering your deck’s top seven for enchantments on entry and refilling your hand every time she’s blinked or recast. The five-color identity lets you combine the best enchantress engines, lockdown effects, and Room synergies from across Magic’s history.

The core game plan:

  1. Ramp early with Wild Growth, Utopia Sprawl, Fertile Ground, and Faeburrow Elder to fix colors and accelerate into midgame.

  2. Drop key enchantress engines like Sythis, Harvest's Hand, Eidolon of Blossoms, and Setessan Champion to turn every cast into card advantage.

  3. Control the board with Rooms and Pillow-Fort pieces: Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Sphere of Safety, and Aura Shards.

  4. Blink or flicker Marina using Teleportation Circle, Soulherder, or Displacer Kitten to repeatedly dig for more enchantments and Doors.

  5. Win by overwhelming value—either infinite loops, Purphoros triggers, or inevitability through recursive Rooms and enchantment swarms.

Key Synergies and Combos

Marina Vendrell + Teleportation Circle / Soulherder — repeatedly ETB for free enchantment card advantage every turn.

Composer of Spring + Enchantress's Presence — ramp and draw engine that feeds itself.

Pemmin's Aura + Sanctum Weaver — infinite mana combo for activating all Doors or pumping massive enchantments.

Purphoros, God of the Forge + Archon of Sun's Grace / Overlord of the Hauntwoods — every new token becomes direct damage.

Sterling Grove — near-immunity for your entire board of enchantments.

Heliod, the Radiant Dawn   + The Prismatic Bridge   / Zur, Eternal Schemer — transforms the battlefield into a constant source of legendary and enchantment value.

Ghostly Dancers + Room enchantments — blink Rooms for repeatable “unlock” effects and recursive control loops.

Marina Vendrell + Sanctum Weaver + Staff of Domination — draw, untap, and unlock infinitely once your mana engine stabilizes.

Playstyle Overview

This deck plays as a 5-color enchantress control/combo hybrid:

Early Game: Ramp hard and deploy enchantress draw engines.

Mid Game: Build pillow-fort protection and start unlocking your Rooms.

Late Game: Abuse blink engines to replay Marina and flood the board with enchantments until value becomes overwhelming or a combo secures the win.

It’s reactive but adaptable the kind of deck that can pivot between defense, combo, and value depending on what the table demands.
