Valkyrie's Call is out in play. I make it a creature with Zur, Eternal Schemer . From my knowlege, I know it comes back. However, my question is does it come back as an angel without being a creature?

I control Zur, Eternal Schemer, who has made Martyr's Bond into a creature.

The animated Martyr's Bond dies, going into the graveyard; at what point does it stop being a creature?

For the sake of Martyr's Bond's own trigger, do the opponents have to sacrifice an enchantment OR creature - or, because it is no longer animated (as it is no longer on the battlefield), would the trigger only force opponents to sacrifice an enchantment?

Ghen, Arcanum Weaver could do some interesting things with it. You could sac it after the boardwipe to get a different enchantment, or if you want the draining effect you can sac a throwaway enchantment to get it back into play.

I play it in Zur, Eternal Schemer - maybe not the best place for The Meathook Massacre, but a boardwipe that can then be a deathtouching blocker with a drain effect is nice.

Combat Research and Security Bypass are both soo strong. they're both things ive used in my esper build. Have you considered Shore Up as an additional option? Aside from the obvious combat trick potential, it works just as well to save your creature from alot of the meta removal being ran.. theres been numerous instances in which the +1/+1 hexproof Untap both saved my thing from exile by a The Wandering Emperor it also can get your thing over the first strike barrier depending on the circumstance. This said though in my build i run only 1-2 Raffine, Scheming Seer, instead running 2-3 Zur, Eternal Schemer and 2-3Vesuvan Duplimancy..

When using Zur, Eternal Schemer's ability on an enchantment creature (Such as Archetype of Imagination, with base power 3/2), does the creatures innate power/toughness become changed to its converted mana cost (using the example above, 6/6)?

Thank you for the suggestion KongMing. Mogis's Warhound seems okay.

I recently took this deck apart to recycle some of the pieces for my Zur, Eternal Schemer deck that's visible on my profile. I found that the Voltron strat was a bit too clunky for my meta

An interesting little engine you might feel like trying is Feast of Sanity + Zur, Eternal Schemer animating it to give it deathtouch and make it into a creature + any card with cycling. The 1 deathtouch damage can kill any creature on the board at instant speed as long as you have the mana up to cycle and activate Zur.
