My Karador, Spirit Tribal deck.

This deck has been formulating in my head for the longest time, especially since Kamigawa was printed. I loved the flavor of Kamigawa and how the cards worked exclusively with each other.

The sideboard consists of cards that were in the deck, but removed due to whatever reasons. Below are the reasons for the removals.

• Kokusho has been near-permanently removed from this deck, simply because he is much too consistent. He forms soft-locks with Karador + sac outlet/as a blocker and stalls games. He has been replaced by Yomiji, Who Bars the Way.

• Jugan was removed because the main strategy of the deck is meant to be token producing. He may be re-added to assist with the numerous beaters in the deck (Oversoul of Dusk, Divinity of Pride, etc.) I see +1/+1 counters as a hindrance to this deck because the creatures are constantly cycling between field and grave, so they wouldn't keep their counters.

• Bloodghast saw little play, and was originally added to combo with Perilous Forays. As you can clearly see, Perilous Forays was never added, so Bloodghast became somewhat useless.

• Phyrexian Tribute is not as useful as Sundering Growth or Wear Away to the deck. Wear Away can be used repeatedly and Sundering Growth gives me an extra token.

• Asceticism saw little play, like Bloodghast. My creatures having hexproof is nice, but I do want my creatures to die so I can bring them back. This is also the same reason I am getting close to removing Avacyn.

• Jarad was removed because I really only want to sacrifice tokens. 3 mana for 1 life is not a worthy deal.
