Apex Devastator

Welcome to our lands, traveler. Here in the land of Naya, you can see our vast forests and imposing mountains. Nature does powerful work here and we revere it. Nature's strongest creatures are the powerful, titanic behemoths that call this place home. We worship these behemoths as the apex of life. The leader of our clan is Atla Palani, Nest Tender. She has the ability to bond with creatures and have them grow right out of the egg! This allows us to field beasts of great strength faster than many others. Allow me to give you a tour of our clan, beasts, and place we call home!

Our Clan

Atla isn't the only worshipper of course. She leads several others. These people all have the ability to tap into the energy of this land to allow us easier access to our behemoths!

Some of the people in our clan include Archetype of Aggression, Atzocan Seer, Beastcaller Savant, Druid of the Anima, Knotvine Mystic, Paradise Druid, Shaman of Forgotten Ways, and Somberwald Sage. Like I said, they mostly assist with calling the great behemoths to our aid! Samut, Voice of Dissent is our champion and greatest warrior. She can make our titans act with haste and hit hard herself.

We do also have several temples, shrines, and ziggurats scattered around for our worship. We even have a High Market! They help Atla with their shrines and magic. Carnage Altar, Culling Dais, Evolutionary Leap, Goblin Bombardment, and Perilous Forays can help Atla with her eggs!

Speaking of our behemoth friends, let's discuss them next.

The Behemoths

These titans of nature can take command of any game. Here on Naya we have plenty of them and several ways to get them out!

Some of our smaller ones are utility in nature. Creatures such as Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Luminous Broodmoth, or even Xenagos, God of Revels can set larger creatures up nicely.

Several of my favorite titans are ones that have powerful effects when they attack or enter the battlefield. Creatures like Etali, Primal Storm, Inferno Titan, Dragonlord Atarka, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Terastodon, or Kogla, the Titan Ape. Giant Adephage can call more of itself if it deals damage to your foes. Stonehoof Chieftain will give all your titans indestructible and trample for a short time.

Another powerful being, Ilharg, the Raze-Boar can help cheat them in, but only for a turn.

Apex Altisaur and Balefire Dragon can be one sided boardwipes, depending on the state of the game.

Some creatures may not have strong effects when they enter, but can command attention regardless. Ghalta, Primal Hunger is one of the biggest creatures there is, and can be cheap mana-wise. Titanoth Rex also is huge with trample, and can give another that power. Worldspine Wurm not only hits hard, but can replace itself with smaller wurms while it goes back into the library. Kozilek, the Great Distortion is a being with otherworldly power.

The Godsire can hit hard and create more behemoths to protect you, all on the same turn. The Greater Gargadon can double as a sac outlet for Atla's eggs. Terror of the Peaks can deal damage to any enemy when others enter the fight. Hamletback Goliath can become the biggest monster on the field easily if allowed to remain.

Serra's Emissary can allow other behemoths protection from removal or creatures. Nyxbloom Ancient can work with our clan and the very land itself to allow us to summon more behemoths should Atla's egg prove unavailable or unfruitful.

Support

Our battle plan is strong, but expensive. Atla helps a lot, but she can become a target. Our clan can produce a lot of mana to help, even if she's unavailable. We also have things like the Quicksilver Amulet if things are in the hand outside of Atla's reach. Court of Bounty can help with card draw, mana fixing, or allow creatures to enter the battlefield. Asceticism can protect your creatures from removal. Flameshadow Conjuring can give you copies of your behemoths to overwhelm your opponent.

Our creatures can also benefit from haste. We have Hammer of Purphoros, Fires of Yavimaya, Rhythm of the Wild to help with this.

I pointed out earlier Atla can draw attention from opponents. To help out with this, we can giver her a Gift of Immortality, Indestructibility, and Swiftfoot Boots.

One Last Spell

You've probably noticed we went through many creatures with artifacts and enchantments for support. There is one spell we have: Primal Surge. This spell, if it goes unanswered is a victory.
