Death Isn't The End

Who dares to venture down into my domain of rot and ruin? Someone new....someone neither dead nor dying. What brings you down to this putrid place we call home? Do you hear the whispers of power in this place? Yes...yes you do. Down here where no one wants to tread and only the vile, disgusting live according to "society".

They're weak. All of them. They're shortsighted too. They hold onto mind magic, justice, or sangromancy; fearing what they cannot understand and dismiss the powers of decay, life, and rebirth. That will be their undoing when facing us. For our master, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, will make the dead live and the living dead.

Death & The Grave

Filling up your graveyard should be a high priority for you. In your quest for power, you must be willing to exploit every resource to fulfill your goal. That can mean raising the dead, creating more dead, or manipulating the living. To fill your grave look for spells like Angel of Suffering, Deranged Assistant, Doom Whisperer, Hermit Druid, Mirror-Mad Phantasm, Satyr Wayfinder, Stitcher's Supplier, The Ancient One, Underrealm Lich, Uurg, Spawn of Turg, Vile Entomber, World Shaper, Genesis Wave, Forbidden Alchemy, Otherworldly Gaze, Mulch, Taigam's Scheming, Perpetual Timepiece, Sinister Concoction, and Vessel of Nascency.

Some creatures work best in the grave anyway. Daring Fiendbonder, Genesis, and Wonder can give you or your other creatures a boost.

Life Powered By Death

Several of our creatures become more useful the more things have died. Sometimes they add mana, make spells cheaper, or become stronger themselves. Use creatures like Body Double, Deathbloom Ritualist, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Lazav, the Multifarious, Lord of Extinction, Old Stickfingers, Slogurk, the Overslime, The Gitrog Monsterand Uurg, Spawn of Turg. They all benefit from death and the grave.

Rebirth

Rebirth is your greatest power. To turn something dead into a useful servant for your own goals is the ultimate power. One that people all over have tried to emulate in their quest for immortality. But this power belongs here, in the places where they believe nothing of value grows and to those willing to take it!

In order to accomplish this, look to things like Doomed Necromancer, Eternal Witness, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Skullwinder, Virtue of Persistence, and our master Muldrotha herself.

Crucible of Worlds can allow you to bring dead land back to life.

Things like Plaguecrafter and Reclamation Sage can take out enemy creatures or support when revived repeatedly.

Living Death can allow you to win easily. Your grave should have he most in it, leaving your opponents with far fewer things to block or hit back.

Useful Tools

They're other tools you have to make your life, and unlife, easier. To cast things you'll need mana! Leyline Prowler can color fix for you while being a decent attacker or blocker.

For directly killing foes, look for Putrefy, Assassian's Trophy, Seal of Primordium, Toxic Deluge, and Terror Tide. Noxious Gearhulk can destroy an enemy directly and Polukranos, Unchained can act as removal when he fights something. He never needs to escape really. Even if he dies, bring him back so your grave stays full. Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath will need you to sacrifice some of your resources, but the advantages he provides cannot be ignored.

Genesis Wave cannot be reused by Muldrotha, but with enough mana can give you a game winning state and possibly add to your graveyard as well.

Thanks for reading the description and looking at the deck! This is just a graveyard matters deck where nothing stays dead. There isn't much in aristocrats or creature sacrifice going on here, because I felt it pulled the deck in two different directions and I'd also made an aristocrats deck in Teysa as seen below. The deck is permanent heavy to allow full use of Muldrotha's ability.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome. Feel free to look at my other decks as well!

Nekusar, the Mindrazer: Losing Your Mind (Wheels/Discard/Mill)

Aurelia, the Warleader: Righteous Justice (Beatdown)

Edgar Markov: Masters of the Night (Vampire Tribal)

Vorel of the Hull Clade: Biological Warfare (+1/+1 Counters)

Atla Palani, Nest Tender: Hatching A Scheme (Polymorph Big Creatures)

Teysa Karlov: The Price of Power (Aristocrats)

Veyran, Voice of Duality: Make it a Double (Spellslinger/Storm)

Jodah, Archmage Eternal: The Power of Eternity (5 Color Good Stuff)
