Enchantment (1)

Anything and Everything is Within Your Grasp.

Welcome. If you've come to me, either my other students were unable to teach you the type of spells you wished to learn, or you simply wish to learn from the Archmage Eternal instead haha! Many of the spells I've held back for myself are large and powerful. The others wouldn't have been able to use them effectively. Come let me show you what I can do.

Introductions

To begin with, my name is Jodah, Archmage Eternal. I've known and studied magic for eons and taught many others who call themselves commanders. They now have mighty armies and spells at their disposal. Some they learned from me; some they discovered on their own. I'm proud of all of them in a way. But enough about them, you came to see me.

The First Lesson

As I've told you, I have studied magic for some time. In that time, I have mastered all five colors of magic. White, blue, black, red, and green spells are all mine to cast. I can cast spells with simply a little of each color if I so choose. This permits me to go big on my spells, using ones others couldn't. It also frees me and my strategy from color based restrictions.

Big Hitters

When you want to summon a big, powerful creature, I find it best to go all in. These creatures can have powerful effects, powerful stats, or both. Ancient Silver Dragon, Apex Devastator, Archon of Cruelty, Combustible Gearhulk, Consecrated Sphinx, Darksteel Colossus, Dragonlord Ojutai, Emrakul, the Promised End, Hellkite Overlord, Inkwell Leviathan, Kaervek the Merciless, Maelstrom Archangel, Nezahal, Primal Tide, Rakdos, Patron of Chaos, Rune-Scarred Demon, Sphinx of the Steel Wind, and Wrexial, the Risen Deep..

Each can be a powerhouse in a different way. This allows me flexibility in combat to get the most out of these powerful creatures.

Other Powerful Abilities

Big creatures aren't all I have at my disposal. Spells such as Maelstrom Nexus and Sunbird's Invocation can allow me to get free spells from the big ones I was going to cast anyway. I can also cast Boundless Realms or Reshape the Earth for all the mana I'd need or Omniscience to remove mana from the equation entirely. Behold the Beyond can allow me to tutor any three spells I'd need.

Genesis Ultimatum and Inspired Ultimatum can put me in very favorable positions too.

Ruinous Ultimatum and Time Wipe are board wipes that can allow me to survive, hopefully allowing me to build back faster.

Door to Nothingness can take one opponent out if you can pay the cost.

Smaller Tricks

Not everything needs to be over the top to be powerful. Sometimes I find a little simplicity is all you need.

Being the Archmage, I tend to have a target on my back. Mizzium Skin can protect creatures and my Robe of Stars can be useful in minimizing harm to me.

If an opponent's creature has a target on its back, consider Terminate, Void Rend, Burn from Within, Darksteel Mutation, or Hurl Through Hell. That last one can let me use my foe's creatures against them!

Unexpected Results is a true wild card. You never know what you'll get!

Balancing the Cost

I've made no secret that my spells require a lot of mana and all 5 colors to boot. So you've been wondering how to possibly afford all these spells. I have ways to generate mana, double it, and manipulate its color as needed.

Chromatic Lantern, Chromatic Orrery, Prismatic Omen, and Joiner Adept let me be flexible with my lands.

Timeless Lotus, Utopia Tree, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Sylvan Caryatid, Birds of Paradise, Jenson Carthalion, Druid Exile, and Jegantha, the Wellspring can produce whatever color I need.

Fist of Suns can duplicate my ability and Mirari's Wake can doube mana collected, allowing your lands to go farther.

A list of those I have bested:

Thanks for looking at my final deck! This is just one that has all the other fun cards I'd considered using in others, but couldn't fit in. They were just too fun not to use so I built a deck where any of them could go since it's 5 colors! Feel free to look at my other decks as well!

Nekusar, the Mindrazer: Losing Your Mind (Wheels/Discard/Mill)

Aurelia, the Warleader: Righteous Justice (Beatdown)

Edgar Markov: Masters of the Night (Vampire Tribal)

Vorel of the Hull Clade: Biological Warfare (+1/+1 Counters)

Atla Palani, Nest Tender: Hatching A Scheme (Polymorph Big Creatures)

Teysa Karlov: The Price of Power (Aristocrats)

Muldrotha, the Gravetide: Life and Death (Graveyard Recursion)
