Competitive-As-Possible Hazezon Tamar

Commander / EDH Competitive Loam Ramp RGW (Naya) Tokens Weenie

Enchantment (1)

I am trying to build a competitive-as-possible Tamar deck. I have been playing this deck for a couple of years and am looking for expert level guidance/suggestions to make it better. As it stands, in a vacuum can do 40+ damage consistently by turn 8 but I want to make it 1) faster and 2) more resilient for interference.

A couple of things ( to guid advice and/or that I've learned over the years of playing Hazezon Tamar:

  1. I want to focus on making him/his sand warriors as the wincon.
  2. The main priority is land-ramp. I want to get as many lands out as fast a possible. It helps Hazezon get out faster and (as opposed to artifact or creature ramp) is resilient to board-wipes and makes Hazezon’s trigger go off bigger. I am pretty sure that this is the right way to do Hazezon but it could also be that bringing him out sooner with fewer lands (i.e. adding sol-rings and other non-land ramp) is correct. I’m pretty sure that, because everything else in the deck synergizes around land-ramp, that's the way to go, but I’d be curious to hear from other experienced Hazezon players.
  3. He has a lot of moving parts (high mana-cost, flickering/doubling token production, needing to get sac’ed before the 1st upkeep, giving tokens haste, boosting the tokens, etc.) so there is a HUGE fight for space in the deck. Unfortunately, this means that spot removal, card-draw (although I’d argue that ramp & recursion are a form of card advantage) and to a lesser extent, board wipes are extremely limited.
  4. Because of #3, if you have a card you think I should include, also be sure to let me know what card I should take out (i.e. specifically what you’d replace it from).

Please also take a look at the maybeboard (stuff I have and want to include but just can't seem to find the space for) and let me know if you have a strong case for any of them to be included (mind point #3!).

Thanks, I really appreciate the help!
