This is an attempt to build the most competetive EDH deck possible for under 50$ for a budget league based on the cheapest version of the card in NM condition on S.C. games.

The deck rests on buffing creatures with infect. Prolifiration serves this deck really well as you add to your experience counters, your creatures' +1/+1 counters, and hopefully your opponents poison counters and their creatures' -1/-1 counters.

If budget is less of an issue several cards should considered. Beyond the standard mana rocks, mana fixing lands and fetches, I would add

Make cuts where you think is necessary. I would start with Trigon of Infestation, non-infect creatures, Simic Signet and drop to between 34 and 30 lands depending on ramp and the consistency you are looking for.

Unfortunately, this deck is no longer budget viable (50$) due to a spike in the commander's price. Still really strong deck, especially in 1 on 1.
