Sideboard

A fun House Dimir mill/clone/reanimator focused deck with a wheelhouse of rotating commanders I can play that require no deck changes at all. I have used Lazav, Dimir Mastermind as the poster child since he is a shapeshifter and could take on the identity of any of these generals (if he ever met them) #vorthos.

Multi-Commander In the 'Maybe Board' are a total of 8 Dimir Commanders and each game I randomly choose one to be my Commander.

I have two sets of commanders: English foils and Japanese foils

  • English foil Dimir Generals: They are sleeved regularly in my Commander deck.
  • Japanese foil Dimir Generals: They are sleeved in special (Oona, Queen of the Fae Ultra Pro Sleeves) sleeves and I select one at random to be my general for any given game. This is the card that I present as my Commander.

What happens when I see the English copy of my Japanese general?

  • Draw the commander: I reveal it, exile it to the command zone with my Japanese foil, and draw another card.
  • Mill the commander: I reveal it, exile it to the command zone with my Japanese foil, and I mill another card.

It's not that hard and works really well since I don't have to constantly search my deck for a Commander to play and when I select my Commander I don't have to search the deck to remove it!

Strategy: Have fun by milling and creating fun complex board states.
