Tasha, the Witch Queen

Legendary Planeswalker — Tasha

Whenever you cast a spell you don’t own, create a 3/3 black Demon creature token.

+1: Draw a card. For each opponent exile up to one target instant or sorcery card from that player’s graveyard and put a page counter on it.

-3: You may cast a spell from among cards in exile with page counters on them without paying its mana cost.

Tasha, the Witch Queen can be your commander.

I love it, been looking for a reason to use Tasha, the Witch Queen. Hope you don't mind me using this as a springboard for a deck brew. I can't afford the fetches, and a few of the cards you have. But the deck play style is definitely something I would have fun using. Fantastic work!

Eldrazi Mischief

Choose one:

-Choose a counter on a card in exile. Put another one of those counters on another card in exile.

-Remove all counters from a card in exile.

-Counter target spell cast from exile.

I made this card thinking of Tasha, the Witch Queen, as a way to put a page counter on another card exiled from a different effect, and then cast it yourself. However, there are plenty of Commanders that like to put marker counters on cards in exile, so there's plenty of opportunities to use this effect.

Repeat, or create a planeswalker with no way to gain loyalty counters.

I think they are getting to be pretty 'meh'. Wizards seem to have learned the lesson from Oko that making them really powerful can be a big mistake. There are some interesting designs still, but they are far less impactful compared to what they used to be. Personally I have a Dihada, Binder of Wills deck and I enjoy the interplay between her +2 and -3 abilities, but it takes a deck built around using that which I think is good. Generically good planeswalkers aren't great for the game usually. I also really like the design of Tasha, the Witch Queen and Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes as well.

I don't think planeswalkers are necessarily a problem in the formats I play (commander and limited) but I don't think it would be super healthy to give them a bunch of new tools either. I'm slightly concerned that the amount of proliferate in All Will Be One could end up being problematic.

Chaddish it hasn't been optimised as my partner hasn't figured out what she likes/dislikes about it yet, and as it's her first EDH deck it's not going to be super competitive yet. As well as that, it's more of a social deck too.

That being said, there are a couple of wincons. The less obivous and more difficult is draining your opponents out,Cauldron Familiar doesn't target so you can start the incremental damage there. If you're smart with the curses, Trespasser's Curse, Curse of Fool's Wisdom and a flipped Accursed Witch  Flip can start to add up. Torment of Scarabs and Cruel Reality can help here too but are reliant on them not wanting to lose resources, but that can still be helpful. Leechridden Swamp can add to this total too.

The clearest would be creature beatdown, 3/3 Demons from Tasha, the Witch Queen. It relies on opponents dealing damage to other opponents usually, but our playgroup is quite creature centric anyway. The curses can help here too; Curse of the Restless Dead, and Curse of Disturbance give you (and opponents) extra Zombies to push through some damage.

The most fun but least consistent way of winning is the wincons not in your deck - taking them via Tasha or other stealing means. A particular favourite of mine was Coffin Queen resurrecting a Gray Merchant of Asphodel for a double kill.

That being said, this deck is still in the early stages and will change over time - mostly as my partner figures out the way she wants to play the deck. At the moment it's a casual flavourful start, but I'll keep updating it as it gets more competitive too.

I don't know if you are still adding to this, but here are a bunch I found that might be a good addition. There are so many cards to look through, Ill post more sometime if I find any.
