Annoyed Altisaur

Creature — Dinosaur

Reach, trample

Cascade (When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.)

Hey. I was just scrolling around to get some ideas to improve my PreCon as well. Because you are open for some suggestions here are my 2 cents on this:

  1. Panharmonicon and all other cards which will copy an effect wont work with Pantlaza. I would cut all cards which double ETBs. A good replacement could be Teleportation Circle. Ur Commander would be a new instance, therefore it works.

  2. In my opinion a CMC of 4.5 is way to high. I would definitely cut some expensive cards like Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Verdant Sun's Avatar, Earthshaker Dreadmaw or Annoyed Altisaur. The impact of those cards are very low in comparison to their cost.

  3. With Vedalken Orrery u need open Mana at ur Opponents turn. Beside most of ur Dinos cost 5+ Mana u will skip ur entire turn or dont use Vedalken Orrey. One suggestion are Mana Doubler like Mirari's Wake or cards to untap like Seedborn Muse/Wilderness Reclamation

Hey, good start on a low budget.

Sol Ring , Arcane Signet and Command Tower are three staples cards for Commander. Dinos and Gishath can benefit from ramp since Gishath is 8 mana and the better Dinos are also high CMC. Ramp can come from mana rocks such as Sol Ring, but you're playing green thus you also have access to lots of other ramp options (land ramp spells, mana dorks, land auras). Land ramp spells can search for and put a dual land or basic land onto the battlefield. Mana dorks are creatures who can tap for mana and land auras are enchantments that can enchant a land to tap that land for more mana then you can normally make.

Some budget Dinos to consider adding:

Creature tutors, repeatable draw sources and other ways to cheat Dinos onto the battlefield are all helpful effects to have.

If you would like I offer more advice. Good luck with your deck.

You need to drop at least two of the crappier cascaders for lands. I get that you have the Cauldron so you get to keep playing them, but it's not a good idea to have less than 37 of them in a mana hungry deck. As for which to cut, I'd suggest Annoyed Altisaur , Maelstrom Colossus , and/or Natural Reclamation . I'd also recommend the replacing lands be ones with sac abilities so you can make the most of your ability to play lands from the yard. You may also wanna put more ways than to put lands in yards other than the 3 self-sac'ers and the 2 spell options.

On another note I'd recommend putting Cavalier of Flame in for the communal "haste breath" and possibly Cavalier of Thorns . Also, why do you take E Wit out?

This is a pretty tidy list! I designed a similar deck a while ago, helmed by Abzan Beastmaster . You can see it here: Uncommonly Big.

I feel there are a couple of key bruisers you might find worth making room for! Krosan Tusker is excellent for being a buff 6/5 in the late game or an instant-speed green Divination while you're still getting set up. There's also Wrecking Beast - unusual for his access to Haste - and Annoyed Altisaur , who has a handy pair of abilities and can even come with backup.

Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty

getting lucky off the back of Maelstrom Colossus and Annoyed Altisaur with Imoti in play makes for some of the most explosive turns I have ever seen in pauper edh. Incredibly fun.
