This has a years-long development starting as a Yidris deck, now down to 2 colors as a Ruby, Daring Tracker Cascade/Discover deck. You only profit off the commander during early gameplay: Ruby is my guaranteed two-drop to ideally ramp another 2+ mana next turn. Meaning you mulligan for at least three Lands plus a 4-costed ramp-spell. I especially love the insane Monstrous Vortex, almost its secret commander.

If you have suggestions for replacements and/or cards I should have a look at feel free to comment! I'm trying out Impulsivity over Combustible Gearhulk at the moment, same with Season of the Bold over Noise Marine, and Cosmic Cube over Chimil, the Inner Sun.

And yes, I have an eye on Hexhaven Invigorator; it'll replace Hugs, Grisly Guardian. I was torn on the mono-g cost at first (but Hugs is specific mana-demanding as well and often I don't pay the cost), it's X as card advantage mostly won't trigger since I cast it often off of cascade/discover (and the Invigorater can grab card-advantage lands as well), and the Vigilance helps with blowback while it's ability causes opponents to not want to block anyway. Also: the deck uses damage as board control, and with some I can target my own Invigorator...
