Captured Sunlight

Sorcery

Cascade (When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom in a random order.)

You gain 4 life.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it :) Unfortunately 'drop white, go aggro' is precisely what I did not want to hear, haha. There's plenty of aggressive minotaur strategies and I wanted to try for the opposite. So I think I'll be taking out Neheb the Worthy and replacing it with stuff that aids the control/stall/value package.

Maybe dropping black and adding blue allows for more card draw and counterspells, but all the minotaurs that take advantage of blue are older than modern or illegal in it, like Etherium-Horn Sorcerer.

Trading black for green, however, allows additional ramp, some Warden of the Chained, Eldritch Evolution and The Great Henge for more value. I prefer Mardu Charm over Naya Charm, however.

Keeping it Boros allows for a more spell-heavy exploitation and maybe abuse Smelt-Ward Minotaur and Boros Battleshaper to allow for small strategic advantages (and Domri's Ambush).

Finally, in whichever color base, I could lean more heavily on the white with things like Revitalize and maybe find a spot for Healing Grace (and if adding green, Captured Sunlight to give those minotaurs a wholesome bent. There's also some changelings I could add in, like Universal Automaton and Adaptive Automaton to streamline the curve.

For now I'll hold off on fetch lands, but maybe a bounce land or two would help out getting to more mana quicker?

then, what about some cards to take back Captured Sunlight or something else from graveyard? like Salvage (there's also Elven Cache but i don't really see this cost in the deck's mechanics)

+1 Love the multi-colored synergy here. I think the deck would be much more aggressive with Sigil Blessing vs. Captured Sunlight. Captured Sunlight seems slow for this build and you already have tons of life gain, but you don't have a lot of draw so I can see why you are using it.

Would a couple Flagstones of Trokair be worthwhile? Because of the wording, you can get your shocklands after upticking Vraska, Golgari Queen. Obviously the problem is that Flagstones of Trokair isn't fetchable, and is legendary.

I'm curious as to your reasoning for Captured Sunlight. Of course it has the possibility to hit a free kill spell, but it can't hit Vraska, Golgari Queen and it only gains you four life by itself. Wouldn't more Kitchen Finks be a better replacement here since it would be another good fodder trigger for Vraska's uptick? And unless it is Path to Exiled, it also gains you four life.

Do you really think you need four Qasali Pridemage mainboard? It seems like 2 or 3 of them can be in the sideboard against decks that don't use rely on artifacts or enchantments heavily.

You have A LOT of graveyard hate in the forms of Scavenging Ooze, Dryad Militant, Relic of Progenitus, and Surgical Extraction. Something to consider would be to buckle down on one type of graveyard hate that does everything you need. Maybe Grafdigger's Cage or Leyline of the Void if you have the budget for it. Relic of Progenitus is really good as well, maybe just up it to four to make room for other stuff.

Lastly, I have many friends that get great use out of either Gaea's Revenge or Carnage Tyrant in the sideboard against control. Hexproof and uncounterable are just major powerhouses that control tends to not be able to deal with (admittedly miracles can deal with them a little easier with Terminus). Choke is definitely great if it lands, but that's a big "if" with control.

Kvothesixstring on Need suggestions for an Ultimatum …

My suggestion to you is to make this deck blue.

Play play sets of pila-pala, Grand Architect, Mycosynth Golem and Mycosynth Lattice. - that's probably the best way to get enough mana out fast enough to make this work. But it's also expensive as all get out, so the next option is to play cards like Kraken Hatchling Yoked Ox Wall of Fog - then I would run cards like Sprouting Thrinax Captured Sunlight and basically anything else that has "cascade." Then play cards like Oracle of Bones anything that can get you a card for free is good.

Cause honestly the ultimatum cards are too expensive to be used regularly.

Nice. I wanted to make an Angelic Accord deck a few years back but never got around to it. Heres a few cards that might be worth considering.

Captured Sunlight

Faith's Fetters

Goldenglow Moth

Narrow Escape

Loxodon Hierarch

Ritual of Rejuvenation

Solemn Offering

Idyllic Tutor

Hyperalgialysis on $2 Angels (Angelic Accord)

If the dollar limit is arbitrary, and you could push it up some there are a few other gems like Nyx-Fleece Ram and Ajani's Mantra that can give you a little life each turn. I like the theme behind the deck, I think you can come down on mana costs with a chunk of your creatures and get some more effects to gain the life in spurts each turn. If you would like the idea, I think making it green white would really help too. Heros Reunion Captured Sunlight and then green guys like Jaddi Offshoot Grazing Gladehart and Retreat to Kazandu. Some solid lands to include are Radiant Fountain and Kabira Crossroads. Again if you add green these get even better with Selesnya Sanctuary Blossoming Sands and Graypelt Refuge.

sebastian1994 on Ramos, Insanity Engine

Some cards I think that you could take out are the Modular and Sunburst cards that you have in the deck. Unless I'm missing a specific rule, I don't think that those cards will trigger Ramos, Dragon Engine since those cards don't change color based on the different types of mana spent to cast them. The ones like Arcbound Wanderer and Clearwater Goblet are still colorless and therefore wouldn't give Ramos any counters when cast.

Other than those, depending on what exactly you want to accomplish with the deck, you might want to consider taking out some of the cascade/storm cards. Captured Sunlight, Sprouting Vines, and Bituminous Blast are the ones that I would consider taking out first.

It looks like this might be one of your anticipated win conditions, but I think taking out Sphinx-Bone Wand and Mirari could help to focus your deck a little bit.

Overall this looks like a really fun deck to pilot! I hope these suggestions help.
