Temur Good-Stuff w/Animar

Creature (1)

Experimenting with retooling my animar deck to move from a blistering fast (and fragile) early combo deck to a more mid-rangy interactive goodstuff deck.

Logic with the old deck was to jam all the creature based ramp and ignore the fail case where animar gets killed and you lose.

I would like to make animar more resilient and less reliant on animar. Adding more taxes removal and value generation. SHould be surprising for peeps that know how to play against the 'real' Animar.

I find that Animar paints a big target on you and that the deck typically is built to encourage you to over-commit early. It is also typically built very land-lite relying on lots of dorks and animar's cost reduction - making it even more fragile against removal.

My goal is to deemphasize Animar and only play him when the time is right. This list goes heavier on basic land ramp and cantrips. There is lots of interaction and there are more non-creatures. I would like to make a version of Animar that I can sit down with and play at a high level as a more control/midrange general with explosive combo finishes.
