Scion of the Ur-Dragon is a beautiful commander. With Scion you can pull all the important components from your deck and use them quickly or prep them for the battlefield. And so, this deck works by emphasizing his power.

While you're working on getting lands into play for Scion, the deck is working to get dragons into your graveyard. There are a number of cards to be used for that, but the king is Deadbridge Chant. Then, an excellent combo is to play either Loaming Shaman or Perpetual Timepiece to get all those pesky non-Dragon cards back into your deck, leaving beautiful dragons to be played for free.

Once there are dead dragons, you play any number of cards to flip them into play. The favorite is Patriarch's Bidding, of course. If you have the right cards, an early Exhume can get you an early and perhaps fatal lead.

Lastly, the deck offers a few avenues for free dragons from your hand or the top of your library: Hunting Grounds, Dragon Arch, Selvala's Stampede, and Descendants' Path are those little gems.

I'm relatively happy with the deck to date. Since last I fiddled with it, I made it slower, so I want to go back sometime and work in more deck manipulation. I will also work in different/better dragons over time.
