Wardscale Dragon

Creature — Dragon

Flying

As long as Wardscale Dragon is attacking, defending player can't cast spells.

Looking quickly through your list, Kilnmouth Dragon , Naya Charm and Wardscale Dragon are decent but a little underwhelming compared to these additions, IMO.

Hey, well done with precon upgrade on a budget.

Scion of the Ur-Dragon is one of the best Dragons for Dragon tribal being a repeatable Dragon tutor. Scion could replace Wardscale Dragon. Scion's ability to change into a Dragon can be done at instant speed which means during combat you can change into different Dragons whenever there's a stop at a combat phase.

Scion's ability goes well with Savage Ventmaw, Teneb, the Harvester and Bladewing the Risen which is a three Dragon combo to end up with Scion and cheat Teneb/Bladewing on the battlefield. Then if Teneb lives he can reanimate other Dragons you tutor for with Scion. Savage is part of the combo because you tutor for him first with Scion, before you attack which then gives you 6 mana to activate Scion three times during combat. The combo takes 11 mana therefore Savage making 6 mana means you only need 5 mana for other sources. Would you like me to explain this combo?

Consider cutting a few of the least good Dragons for more Dragon support? Rhythm of the Wild and Temur Ascendancy are in the maybeboard and they could replace two Dragons such as Vorosh, the Hunter and Darigaaz Reincarnated. The repeatable effects of Rhythm and Ascendancy are much better than what these Dragons can provide. Faeburrow Elder is also in the maybeboard and it's a much better ramp source than Mana Geode. Crux of Fate and Eerie Ultimatum are also in the maybeboard they could replace Spit Flame and Palace Siege.

There's 20 lands here of the 36 that will always ETB tapped which is a lot. The Tri lands on a budget are worth always ETB tapped, the rest are not. My advice is cut the Bounce lands and Scry lands for other types of lands. The combination of lots of Tri lands and Bounce lands is not good; play either one, not both in the same manabase.

Exotic Orchard is budget staple Rainbow land. By adding a few more basic lands then the 5 Battle lands are budget options since they have interaction with lots of basic lands. Cinder Glade, Smoldering Marsh, Sunken Hollow, Prairie Stream, Canopy Vista, can get each of these for less than $2 at TCGPlayer with Vista being the most expensive.

Manabase upgrades to consider:

You have Farseek and it can search for one of these Battle lands which is helpful for color fixing.

Good luck with your deck.

Hey, at your Ur-Dragon deck the last part of my comment was cards for you to consider cutting. In that list are the Dragons that I think you could cut.

Dragons to consider cutting:

Others:

I think your deck can be improved by cutting some Dragons and replacing them with more low mana cost tutors that can tutor directly for the better Dragons. Four and five drop Dragons are not really needed because the cards you want to play at this stage of the game is ramp which gets you closer to playing more powerful Dragons and Ur-Dragon which is better than all the rest.

Replaced Wardscale Dragon and Numot, the Devastator with Dragonlord Dromoka and Ojutai, Soul of Winter

Figured the doesn’t untap may help, and Wardscale is the same mama cost as Dromoka

So, landwise I do not like the Valakut, and would recommend either Haven of the Spirit Dragon, Flamekin Village or an Utility land like Buried Ruin. Also not a fan of Brave the Sands and Dowsing Dagger. just too cute for me. Still a fan of Scroll Rack when you play Land Tax though :)

Creaturewise I think Dragonmaster Outcast is just too low impact, also Moonveil Dragon and Skyship Stalker are a bit weak. Even though Dragonspeaker Outcast provides great ramp I am struggling with that one. There are a few dragons which merit further exploration I think, but can depend on what you are facing.

Thunderbreak Regent (A rattlesnake and nicely costed)

Thundermaw Hellkite (can clear the way for your non-trampling attack)

Scourge of the Throne (it is perfectly easy to get an additional attack out of this at least once)

Rimescale Dragon (would require moving to snow lands, a bit clunky manawise)

Kilnmouth Dragon (good utility dragon, but with the nr. of dragons you are running may be awkward)

Hellkite Charger (additional attacks? would pair nicely with neheb :)

Flameblast Dragon (no need to hit a player to dish out damage)

Wardscale Dragon (defense during your attack)

Nesting Dragon (The egg tokens are a good thing against board wipes)

Some Card Draw Dragons

Hoarding Dragon (Without the ability to misuse the ability may be a bit weak)

Eternal Dragon (more slow moving)

Dream Pillager (good effect, setup to high maybe)

Skyline Despot (well draws at least one cards and monarch makes stuff move)

Runehorn Hellkite (this one I really like. Usable EOT before you have your turn makes this really good)
